Tiny People RP.

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Tiny People RP.

Tiny People RP.

This RP is about tiny people who live in human's gardens and secretly take food at night. But they only live in the houses of those who believe in them, unless they cant find a home anywhere else.

************************************************************************************

I laughed as I slid of the rose petal on to the patch of freshly mowed grass which cushioned my fall. I dashed under the rose bush, shoving leaves out of my way until I emerged into the bright sun. I shielded my eyes with my hand as I prepaired for short, but dangerous journey across the small stretch of uncovered area, exposing me to the eyes of curious humans and hungry dogs alike. As my parents always reminded me, 13 seconds out in the open could cost me my life. I knew that our species was hidden in secrecy, or so I thought, and that the tiniest glimce from human eyes could cause our clan to move to a different garden. And even then, that would be a lucky escape. There is a child in our house who belives in faries and tiny people, which is understandable since he is only three. This protects us from other creatures, for which I am grateful.

I readied my tiny legs and braced myself to run.

Awesome, we've got four charries, lets go.

I gasped deep breaths of fresh, sweet air as I tumbled under a fallen log on the other side of the clearing. I knew that if the humans had seen me, I'd know about it, so I went back to our house, which was under the roots of an oak tree about 4 meters away. This is what we called "the Village" as under each root was a home. Mother and Papa had been encouraging me to go out of the house more often. Im guessing this is because of the fact that I haven't made any friends my age. I thought that if I was ever going to make friends with other people, I would find them in my own time.

As the oak tree came into view, I  suddenly heard a thwack! And I was shoved painfully into the dirt. I looked up!

'I am so sorry!' Said a tall, wavy haired girl about my age. 'I didn't see you there.'

I look up at her. 'Thats ok', I say. 'I wasn't looking where I was going. What's your name anyway? Im Ellysa Maple.'

'Im Laya Arken'. She smiles, 'It's nice to meet you. '

Does anybody care if I don't write in 1st person?

As Oliver, flopped down onto his bed, with a sigh he thought how fun it would be to have a sister or a brother. No more lying around on his own. No more wishing he had someone to play with. And altogether less bored.

Oliver ran down the stairs two at a time until he reached the bottom of the stairs, when he was about to climb up and do it again, but something rushing out behind a rose bush through the window caught his eye.

'It's the little people!' He thought. He had seen one once before down be the roots of the old oak tree. He had been three then, but he still remembered it as though it was yesterday. He dashed out the door and skidded to a halt near a patch of freshly mowed grass. He leaned closer and closer, and then he gasped. There were tiny footprints in the grass.

"That is the worst idea."
I hid in a patch of unmowed grass, looking over at another tiny person.
"But that's so much food!" He said, still gazing at the fallen chunk of a Hotdog bun.
"But it's not worth dying for!"
"Too late for that!" He said as he dashed out of the grass and towards the porch. He ran onto the porch, grabbed the Hotdog bun, and started running back.
He didn't see the dog.
"Dog! Watch out!" I yelled at him. He looked behind him at the dog charging him and began to run faster. "Zig-Zag! It'll confuse him!" I yelled at him.
It didn't confuse him.
The dog lunged at the tiny person, crushing his legs. He screamed as the dog took the bun and trotted away, stomping on him again. I screamed and ran towards the other tiny person. I shook him, no response. That hit must have crushed his organs. I began to bury the tiny person, not wanting any humans to find him.

~Laya

I smile at the girl- Ellysa-and then, out of the corner of my eye I see a dog. It isn't in the forest yet, but in a human's yard. "Dog!" I yell. Ellysa jumps, realizing what I just said, and a look of fear enters her eyes. "We should go," she says. "But if we can only distract it long enough, we could get over to that Berry bush..."
