Chatterbox: Inkwell

Wanted to publish a story and this is as close as I can get so...

I present to you... Dragon Wings.

It had been a normal day, until I met the kid with wings. I had almost died (twice,) took my pet hellhound for a walk, and killed a legion of exploding cows. No problem. But a kid? That was weird.

I was running down the street when I literally bumped into the guy. He had a baseball cap that had been knocked to the side, realiving- were those ram horns? He had shaggy dark purple hair that I wasn't sure was dyed.  His eyes were dark tunnels, with a pinprick of electric blue. His skin was dark brown.                   

He fixed his cap, but I knew what I had seen. 

"Sorry," he muttered, then backed away quick like he was afraid to turn around. He wore a locket made of strange metal. 

"Wait!" I called. He turned a corner and ran. I followed him through the streets. He had a strange lump under his shirt, but i had no time to worry about that now. "Are you a god?"

I was amazed he had the breath to laugh. He didn't speak, but I got the feeling he wasn't a god.

I had almost caught up to him. Suddenly, black blurs pushed out of his shirt. Were those- wings!

He hovered a few feet above ground, out of reach. "What do you want?"
