I am currently writing a book titled: The Army of the Alone. I want to post it here on the Inkwell.
I will take fourteen people. 7 main in the army with Amy, 7 who are spies trying to free the brainwashed teens.

Here is what I have written so far:
Part 1: Silence
Chapter 1
I lie there, alone and unmoving. The white-washed walls illuminate my pale skin. White clouds hang frozen in the air from my breath.
My slim body is levitated about three feet above ground. Wires that are attached to my skin are hooked up to machines. Iron shackles keep me from moving.
Somewhere around three days, they unshackle me and take off the wires. Then they hand me a black uniform and say that they will be back in a few hours. All I can do is nod.
Once I get into the uniform, which consists of black pants, a black long sleeve shirt, black armor, and a black sheathe, I walk over to one of the walls. I appear to be in a pentagonal room, with one door that is bolted shut and no windows.
Because the walls are so clear, my reflection stares back at me. I have blonde hair that is a little longer than shoulder length. My green eyes are bright and intimidating. And of course, the impotant one. I can't remember a thing.
That's all I have at the moment. I will try to post every day.

Appearance: Chesnut hair. Green eyes, freckles. A bit small for his age, but very athletic.
Personality: Cocky, but very friendly once you got to know him. Very loyal to his friends, especially Ty, his best mate. He was heartbroken when Ty went undercover.
Side: Spy
A picture of character and/or a backstory: Was brought in to the spy program from Australia. He is new to the squad, but gets along with everyone well.

Chapter 3 continued
While eating, I find out that the other boy's name is Maxwell. He seems to be teeming with information. Like how there was supposed to be sixteen of us, but the sixteenth, whose name was Durand, died. It made me more wary of Kristine. Definitely glad I decided to trust Ty, I tried to swallow down the rest of my mush.
Just then, another girl enters the cafeteria. She is wearing a black leather jacket over her midnight black uniform. She sits down at the table next to us. Table D.
I move to the far end of the bench that I am sitting on. "Hi. My name is Amy, what's your name?" I ask her quietly, not wanting to be heard in case I was doing something illegal. Thankfully, nobody noticed.
"Abby Lange. Major." she whispers back. Her brown-blonde hair seems to shimmer in the fluorescent lighting. We smile and go back to our respectful areas, eating our gross mush.

The highest rank in the army is Commander. However, I am not yet assigning commander yet. Are you fine with being a major? You have a higher rank than a Captian.
Corporal—Captain—Major—Commander
I also need to assign some Corporals. At the moment I have 3 captains and 1 major. I am still trying to figure out what Maxwell and Ty are.

My first period is one-on-one combat with another girl, who seems determined to kill me. Her name is Victoria DeMorte. She says, "If you call me Vic, I swear I will pit my dagger to your throat before you can draw your arrow." Bonding time.
Of course, Victoria is a 2nd commander, which means if anything bad happens to the main commander, she'll be acting commander. Great.
"Aim straight and try to pierce the vein in my neck?" she roared, as I missed, yet again. For some reason, I couldn't bring myself to kill her, no matter who annoying she is.
"No." I mutter as I throw down my bow and arrows. "I am sorry Victoria. I am not. Because I know you are going to use this as an opportunity to murder me. Listen, I have no idea why you are so intent on blood and killing me. Nor do I care. So there."
I put my hands on hips defiantly. I see her aim her dagger back, getting ready to cut off my circulation. I gave her a coy smile to tell her that maybe I know more then I am letting on. I see her hesitate.
That's when I make my move. Silently, I launch of my feet, throwing myself at her. Shocked, she blows her whistle to signal that I have done enough.
I see the shock on her face. No one had ever done that to her before. So, before she can say anything, I turn on my heel, and march out of the room.
Ghost Queen, does this work. You aren't higher than Kristine, but you still have a really high rank.
