Zodiac RP!

Zodiac RP!

The sky has long been ruled by the brave constellations and zodiacs, lords and ladies of them all.

Up there, it worked perfectly fine, with no need to eat or drink or even do simple things. The Zodiac council was fair and wise.

Then they held council on an asteroid.

Some blamed Orion's arrows for accidentally hitting the asteroid, others the path of Halley the comet.

But the Zodiac lords and ladies fell to earth on the asteroid, through time and space, knocked unconscious for many years by the path of the asteroid's speed.

Tearing away their forms, it reduced them to human forms...

And they were flung, still unconscious, scattered across (a decided location in the U.S. The first to join decides where we land.).

Here's mine.

Name: Pisces, Lady of the Water. Hasn't chosen a disguise name yet.

Lord or Lady of: Since water doesn't flow through space, she was in charge of keeping an eye on the stars as a scout. She had ventured close to earth many times before for her beloved water, and knows considerably more about it than the other Zodiacs.

Power: control over the water, can change into any kind of fish at will

Appearance: Pale, with rippling blue hair everyone assumes she dyed. Tall, but awkwardly walks on her human legs.

Personality: I develop it as I go

Skills: weaving and knot tying, swimming

~Gemini (Pollux)~

So. A city. The entire time the other Zodiac councillors have been arguing, I have been conversing with Castor in my head. She has a knack for noticing what I do not; this time it is the fact that we are not far from the city. I cannot judge how long it would take to get there, though. At full power it would take a tiny fraction of a second. With this unfamiliar mode of movement - the two feet that, it would seem, are my own - maybe hours, or days.

Cities mean people. Human people. They also mean many, many things I must notice all at once, many dangers I cannot begin to comprehend. I feel vulnerable enough already, tied to this weak human frame, feeling the drag of gravity every moment. I am like a child and I do not like it. But I know who does.

Wait. Me? You'd actually do that while they're fighting?

You heard me. Take the body. They need your empathy right now, more than my logic. I think Lady Justice might be mad at me, as well.

She is, kinda. A little. She thinks you're rude sometimes.

She is...not wrong.

Oh, come on. Cheer up! We've only been to Earth a couple times before, when some of their infighting got out of hand, and that was just changing a few minds to keep them from blowing themselves up, nothing really fun. You see gravity and all that, I see a chance to look around!

Exactly my point. Why don't we - switch - off -

There. That's better. Pollux?

Here.

Alrighty then. Let's follow the others. We've got a city to explore.

~Lady Leo, a. k. a. Lorelai

Kerrr-thunk.

I hit the ground with a squish, a think, or a mixture of the two.  As I slowly squint my eyes open, i cover the sun with my hand.  Wait.  What.  Hand?  I sit up quickly.  Am I . . . Human?

I look around.  I spot many trees, a mix of different shades of green, brown, and specks of colors on the ground.  Flowers.  I feel the ground underneath me.  I try to think of the world this was, if it was one I had created.  There was a small chance that I hadn't created this world, for I was the lady of Creativity, the planet-maker, the galaxy-maker.  A ingle wrd appears into my mind.

Earth.

I try to stand, but I am unsteady on my two legs.  I decide o crawl.  It would be easier for now.  I remember creating this world to be beautiful.  All that seemed so far away from here.  So far away from the heavens.  I spot a river, and head towards it.  I look at the reflection which imitated my actions.  My reflection.

There's a small cut on my forehead, blood slowly dripping into my green eyes.  A grubby, dirty, colorful apron was on me.  I brush long, brown, straight hair with ble tips behind my ears, and stand again.  This time, I have more of a hang of it.

I find myself near a cave, but not a second before I become more aware of my surroundings, a drop of -- what's the word? -- water falls onto my forehead, stinging the wound.  I hurry to the cave, and I don't realize until I am inside that there are 11 other people there.

There's a girl with ridiculously red eyes, a a girl with mismatched black-and-white eyes, a girl with dark hair with different colored highlights, a ginger-haired girl, an Asian girl with a scarf, a tall boy, a girl with blue hair, and a few more.  One of them asks, "What's your name?"

I had to think of something, quick, but I don't at the same time.  "Leo.  I-I mean, Lorelai.  Or whichever."  I add to myself, "But I don't remember creating any of the people in this room . . ."

Sorry, I don't know what's happening right now -_-

I'm going to make Libra much vainer, to make her less of a Mary Sue. She's still nice to everyone but is very irritated by them on the inside.

Also, probably every Zodiac hates Libra for being such a goody two shoes. I'm starting to hate her myself.

Libra~

So. It was decided that we should decide to go to the city. I'm a little impressed they actually got through that without arguing for hundreds of years. They would usually ask for me or Gemini's help.

While we start forward, I wonder if I would be able to get any good clothing. While what I was wearing at the moment was... Alright, it would be better to get something that looked decent.

I wonder how these humans govern themselves. Do they make mistakes? Are they quick to decide things? Are they swallowed by corruption and greed? I suppose that we Zodiacs have these problems as well, but at least in... Lesser amounts.

"I think the city is nearby, in this direction," Gemini points to her left. I nod silently.

"Perhaps we should separate once we get to the city," I suggest calmly. "I think we need our time to ourselves, to think wisely about our future. Our mind becomes clouded in these ill-tempered arguments."

There is grumbling, but they are smart enough--For once-- to listen to my decisions.
