Okay, so this may seem a little bit corny or something, but if you're a big fan of Marvel (YAY! I am) or D.C. (Eh. Not so much), you probably like the different character's powers. Well, in this RP, you are a normal teen but you are taken away to this training camp to become a super-hero to fight, um, let's say something along the lines of HYDRA or the jolly on the road evil company created by Lex Luthor.
This Academy helps you to strengthen your powers and will prepare you for a battle against um, let's call it Neo-HYDRA for now. You will meet many people with powers there, but at first you'll think you're at a normal boarding school in a cold, cloudy place. Then you discover werid things starting to happen....
Here are the list of powers:
Invisibility/Force feilds (those two seem to always go together, so why not?)
Components (water, fire ice, wind, earth, all that)
Super strength (literally can lift a builiding off of the ground)
Super speed (think the Flash)
Cyborg (Teen Titans? If not, you're a robot and person with weapons inside and attached to you)
Light/Dark (can bend light and can make darkness)
Shapeshifting (quite explanetory. You can't shapeshift into a lizard or ox for some reason, though)
Mind reading/telepathy (but you don't do mind-reading around friends because of privacy issues)
Healing (you can heal any wound)
Unexplainably smart (Literally, like scary smart, and slightly physcopathic)
Regeneration (you can regenerate from a flesh wound but not from old age. A weirder power, but the enemies won't know about it)
Electricity (All I can say is...whoever gets on your bad side...OUCH!)

Superhero name: Warper
Age: 18
Gender: F
Power: She can create illusions out of thin air (she can sometimes be an illusion, i.e. walk through walls), fly, and through protective shards of kinda glass as a defence (the shards are not her strong suit, though, and she's working on it).
Weaknesses: Sometimes she can't focus and will zone out, and that can be a weakness because one time she passed out over a long period.
Appearance: She has a little shorter curly blonde hair that are wavy curls that have light brown and lighter blonde streaks in them. She'll usually wear it down or pull the sides back. She has very pale skin and lots of freckles that can be seen on her arms, face, etc. She's slim, and she did very recently turn 18 (I'll start RPing on her birthday). She has big hazel eyes and likes to smile. She will wear a dark outfit that all seems to melt together (illusion) because of the cloak and hood that covers it when she thinks in her room. When she is outside of her room and in her school, she will usually wear a black hoodie, crimson pants, and short socks that have cats on them or completely black Converse. However, when she goes out and tries to act like a normal person, she'll wear a scarf, beret, a shirt with a cardigan, jeans, and laced boots or Brogues.
Personality: She's literal, smart, and is very observant. It takes a particular type of person to like her, because she can be arrogant. However, like I mentioned earlier, she will be in her own world at times. Like in Sherlock, sometimes when she is thinking about one problem and one problem only, she will cover the walls of her dorm room with what she is thinking about. What helps her is her music. She won't be seen without her earbuds.
Background: She was adopted into a wealthy family that owned a tech and innovation company, and she was sent to a boarding school, or this Academy. That's pretty much it, and I'll develop more later.
Other: Like I mentioned, she loves music. Her character is also open to shipping/relationship.

Name: Syllia Marks (Sil for short)
Superhero name: Ether
Age (18 up): 18
Gender: Girl
Power: Components, fire water earth air.
Weaknesses: She cant take a hit. For some odd reason, any kind of injury is almost fatal. She nearly died once because she got a paper cut. No one is sure why this happens.
Appearance (try to be specific): Long, stark white hair, albino, black leather jacket, combat boots. I will post a pic later.
Personality: Very very cautious because of her weakness, she hates to take risks.
Background: She got her power due to evil experiments. When she was a little kid she was kidnapped and had her powers infused into her. They found out about her weakness though and tried to kill her to get rid of evidence but she escaped to the academy.

Age: 17 (he's younger than preety much everybody)
Gender:Male
Power: Can control anything with electronic power running through it with his mind by transmitting psionic power as code. High inventing skill.
Weaknesses:If touching a non-conductive (like rubber), his power will stop working. Can't swim.
Appearance: Spiky brown hair that looks like Noctis' (Final Fantasy XV, look it up), freckled (but only a little bit around his nose), large brown eyes, small short nose, Wears a stylish black hoodie and jeans that are slightly torn at the knee, and black chocos.
Personality: Cocky, daring, risk-taking, forward, but can be very sneaky when necissary. Brave, honest (sometimes too much). Likes to do crazy stuff.
Background: Was stuck by a meteor that caused his already evolving psionic power (had the psionic X-gene) to take a turn to the digital. After he discovered his new powers, he began to take more risks and get in more trouble. Eventually,his parents decided he wastoo muuch to handle, so the sent him to The Academy.

I hoped we would be able to choose our own powers. Oh, well; I have a good idea anyway.
Name: Alina Hurley Gethen
Superhero name: Esculz (a combination of "escuro" and "luz," "light" and "dark" in Galician), but uses other names as well, such as Bender, to keep secrecy
Age: 19
Gender: F
Power: Light/Dark
Weaknesses: Has trouble with anything where you have to pick a side. Generally ambiguous, she detests things like politics, where you're pressured to choose one candidate or the other; she prefers to point out the good or bad in both. She hates any sort of choice, and prefers for someone to either chose something for her, or not pressure her at all.
Appearance: Her eyes are multicolored: one pupil pit-black, the other a shining white. Her skin is a dark copper color, her hair dyed grey and long, bottom-of-shoulderblade length. Only when fighting does she pull it up into a ponytail. A lover of either symmetry or stark contrast, Alina's clothes often make her look like a mime or a character out of a Picasso painting for their surpising comparison of light and dark.
Personality: Some would call her a goth, but Alina doesn't like that description. She has difficulty warming up to people because, in her eyes, everyone is unkind. She notices flaws much more often than good things, and therefore avoids people. She's very patient and generally a pacifist. She doesn't talk much, but she will respond if prompted, and always tries to be as kind as possible, detesting hypocrisy. Therefore, she's rather self-conscious, always trying to be perfect, but also ambiguous, at the same time.
Background: Alina didn't like growing up. She lived in a normal family, pretty much; middle class, average jobs, got along fine. The problem was, her parents had very strong political opinions, on opposite parties. They would argue late into the night, especially around election season, and Alina vowed to never be like them. She also underwent minor bullying for her clothing choices.
Other: The weaknesses might have been confusing, let me know if you want me to rephrase it. I'm open to minor shipping, but remember, Alina has very high standards.

Power: Water, fire, winds.
Weaknesses: Physicly: Ice, touching it will drain her powers, for a small amout of time. Mentely:books, she WILL NOT EVER let a book store get destroyed even if it mean letting thousands of people down. Emotionaly: her crush, is her asks her to do anything she'll melt and become a wordless minion, and he knows this.
Appearance (try to be specific): Firey red hair, fighting with watery blue hait, both dyed, her hair always has kinda of a windswept look, long and curly. her eyes are saphire blue, with specks of gold, like gears. she has a bit shorter than avarge eyelashes, and she wears maskcare to make them seem bolder. she has a tanish complection and freckles all over her nose and cheeks from being in the sun to much.
Personality: she a bit pessamistic, but she's really funny, and kinds, she's strait forward and will not soften the blow. if you have something you need to know you can count on her to tell you the truth.
Background: her mom and dad both died in a fire, destroying her home, and few things survived. she was moved from home to home, each gardian thinking that she's just a girl that wont take the time to do anything and none of them have any sympathy that she just lost her family in a fire, not even a month ago. her grades are low since she is switching schools alot, but she is really smart, and loves to write she was in honers math and english, but moving around so much made it to hard to continue doing that. now no one will take her thinking that she is so horrid since so many people have left her, the person in charge of the orphanage decides to take her to a 'boarding school' knowing that she has powers but will not tell Sadie that she does, even though sadie gets really mad. there's a boy at the orphanage Aidan, that she has a huge crush on, and is secretly tying to get her gardieas to give her back so she can see him.

Power: Unexplainably Smart and Healing
Weaknesses: Whenever she heals a wound, she takes that same pain upon herself. If it's a wound caused by another superhero, that pain is tenfold. The pain will generally dissappear after a few days, unles it's a special case.
Appearance: Fair skin, dark eyes, wild brown hair, beautiful features, glasses. Tall, lean. Superhero outfit, undetermined.
Personality: Will develope.
Background: Will develope.
Other: Open to shipping, sorry about all the 'Will developes'.

Background: Was stryck by a meteor while stargazing with his parents when he was 10. The Stike killed them, but he survived and was implimented with metal parts by the government to test. Was then tested upon and strained for two years until he was adopted by a soldier who took pity on him when he was stuck in the testing facility. He gave him a family, and a home. But then when he was 16 a supervillain named Detonator wiped out his familly again, leaving him the only survivor. A inspector at the scene found him in the house under a pile of wreckage. The investigator knew to take him to Carles Xavier (Marvel's Proffesor X) and he taught him how to use and control his powers for good. At 18, he sent Tyler off to the Academy.
