Acceptance RP!

Acceptance RP!

Acceptance RP!

I have not made or joined an RP in MONTHS. This is because I keep quitting/not joining because I get so stressed out (and I don't like stress XD). But, I saw Scylla's post and thought "I am not very good at writing, and maybe joining an RP will help me improve." That is when I decided to make this RP!

In the Land of Iretha, there are five tribes. Zose, Rabinsyi, Cospityar, Socupinra, and Torneskan . They do not usually fight, but they always keep to themselves. Until one woman had an idea.

Marywill Blacksmith decided to make an academy. An equal number of children from each tribe, ages 11-14, will journey to the small island of Smor to be schooled in magic. She invites five students, one from each tribe, to join her at The Academy.

I hope you like my idea! Five people will be able to join (including me); one from each tribe. Everyone will have a different power, but they shouldn't be OP and all five students should have their powers about equal in strength. Only five people will be allowed in this RP, no more, no less. I will not make any exceptions or allow people to join once we have started (I'm really sorry, but this is how the RP works).

Now, let's get started with the charrie sheet!

Zara~

Mother makes me put on my coat and scarf, but it's not like I'm going anywhere exciting.

I correct her several times with the accuracy of her facts on this "Academy," and she quickly accepts the corrections before bustling about for another phone call.

So looks as if Michael will be dropping me off today.

We take several shortcuts through the bustling streets. The Academy demands that I be in a dorm, so I do hope that the person I have to "room mate" with isn't a bore, or an idiot for that matter.

I will try to write more tomorrow. :) @Epic Fangirl, would it be okay if Kayla and Zara were roomates?

Yeah that would be okay. I was actually thinking that.

@Everyone This is a fantasy world and kind of medieval, if you can't tell by the plot and tribe names.

Fausta~

"Mother, why are you sending me away?"

"I told you, Fausta. To the Academy."

"Will anyone else have control of water?"

"I do not know. A lot of people have non-elemental powers, but some still have control of an element. Now, hurry up. It will be a long ride."

"I hope Dearie doesn't get too tired."

"She's a strong horse. She'll be okay. Now, go!

Ollie~

"This is going to be so fun!" I exclaimed, dancing in circles around my unenthused sister. "I've always wanted to go to a... what's the word again?"

"Academy." She said. "I don't know why we have to go."

I tugged on her arm. "Will I get to share a room with you?"

She sighed and plopped down on the ground next to an old tombstone. I sat next to her. "I don't know. I'm older, and a girl, so probably not."

"Oh." I replied, then grinned. "Hey, I'm gonna go see if Hal and Lydia and Attie are up!"

It was about half an hour before sunrise, the sky was just beginning to turn pink. My feet were intsantly soaked in the dew-covered grass, and the graveyard would seem a bit spooky if, you know, I didn't have the power to talk to spirits.

Lydia's tombstone was very old and very small, and over the years the name was impossible to read. She'd belonged to a family of poor farmers, so she was still in the habit of getting up at dawn, even after 200 years. I placed a hand on the stone. "Lyds, are you up yet?"

A slightly transparent figure materialized in front of me. Her copper colored eyes were wide open, like she'd been up for a while, and her hair was pull back into a neat knot on the top of her head. "Mhmm. How'd you sleep?"

"Not great. I'm just so excited!" Lydia raised an eyebrow, waiting for me to go on. "You'll never guess."

"Um... you found out what causes Pachy Sores?" She asked. I shook my head. "Spook got out again?"

"No! One more guess." I said.

"Uh, the worms you've been experimenting on mutated and are going to take over the world?"

"Nope." I grinned. "S.C. and I are going to an academy!"

She frowned. My smile faltered. "What?"

"Well, if you're moving away," She said. "What about us?"

I hadn't even thought about that. "Oh."

"Please don't leave me here alone with Hal and Attie!" She begged. I thought for a moment. "Hey... maybe you can come with me?"

Ghosts are free spirits, they can go wherever they like and do whatever they like. Usually, though, they choose to stay with the people they know, close to where they died. Lydia smiled. "Are you kidding? Yes! When do we leave?"

"Tomorrow." I said. "When Hal and Attie wake up, we'll get them on board. This is going to be the best year of my life!"

S.C. is his sister's name, by the way.

Kayla~

"But Grandma.... I don't want to go to this.. this academy.. thing." I say, pouting.

"I know dear, but you need to learn to control-"

"Yes I know 'I need to learn to control my powers'. But I don't want to leave you!"

"I understand sweetie. But you have to. I'll miss you." Grandma says, pulling me intoo an embrace.

"I'll miss you too." I say as I pull away. I grab my bag and open the door, forcing myself to be cheerful. It's a fun, new experience. I tell myself ButI know it's not, for all I know I could get sent on some sort of mission and die and never see Grandma again. That would suck. I get to the place where a small boat will take me to the island where Academy is. Oohh. Atleast I'll get to have a roomate, that'll be fun! I realize as I climb onto the boat. I just hope they're not that bad.

Raya~

"But when, Daddy, when?!" I whined. I wanted to go to the Academy NOW!

"Tomorrow, my sweet." My dad looked...almost sad, but I ignored it. "Tomorrow."

"Yayayayayayayayayayay!" I cried, and ran off the finish packing my bags.

Fausta~

"Look, Dearie! It's the boat! You can find your way home, can't you? Yeah, you're a great horse. Shoo, go along now! I've got to catch the boat."

Dearie whimpered, sad that I was leaving, but turned around and headed home.

"It's nice to be back by the ocean. I love the water," I said, using my magic to pull some water from the ocean and shape it into different pictures.

The normal humans, the ones who can't use magic, were staring at me. I snapped out my day-dreams and dropped the water back into the ocean.

"Umm, hi?" I said, turning around and feeling awkward.

I quickly turned back to face the ocean.

"The boat's here!" I announced.

I heard people talking to their families, promising to be home soon. I glanced over my shoulder and saw tears on the faces of families wishing their relative good luck.

I boarded the boat along with everyone else.

"Academy, here I come!"

---

I added this to give a little more detail to my original post and have her use some magic. Umm, I don't really have a speech planned so I have no idea what to say after this. I guess, bye?

Ollie~

Since ghosts don't have to eat or change clothes, Lydia, Hal, and Attie didn't have to pack. Unfortunately, I did.

"Ugh," I groaned, slumping against the wall of my and S.C.'s room and sliding down onto the floor. "This is so hard. I feel like I'm forgetting eveything."

My sister had all her things together already, so she just snickered at me from the other side of the room. Spook barked. "I could use a little help!" I exclaimed.

S.C. came over to see if I'd forgotten anything. "Um... shoes?" She said. I made a face. I hate wearing them- you can't feel the ground beneath you, it's like your feet are trapped. So, I shoved them in my suitcase. "Ok. Ready!"

We walked out into the kitchen, where my parents stood waiting for us. A few tears glistened in their eyes, but they looked more happy for us than anything. S.C., on the other hand, did not look happy at all. I hugged both my parents, then my sister for good measure, and we went out to get our family's donkey, Ghoul. Before I knew it, we were (slowly) making our way to the boat that would take us to the academy.

When we passed by the graveyard, I hopped off the donkey and sprinted to wear Lydia, Hal, and Attie's tombstones were. I didn't even have to call for them, they were already waiting for me.

"I can't believe I'm doing this," said Hal, pacing back and forth. Well, he didn't have working legs, so he floated. An almost always fatal disease called Mortivy had taken his life when the boy was ten years old, but had turned his legs into useless, sore-covered stumps before he had died. I've been working on a cure for this disease my entire life. And after all these years, I still hadn't really come up with anything.

"Oh, can it, worrywart!" Attie said. Despite being only 4 ' 6'', which is even shorter than me, Attie had the patience of a wild bear and the temper of a hornet. "We're going to the stupid academy, and that's it!"

Lydia just rolled her eyes. "Lead the way, guys. I'm sure we can keep up with Ghoul." She was right. Our beloved donkey had to stop almost every five minutes. It was slow progress, but finally, I saw the water up ahead of us. I looked at my sister. "What now?"

Can Ollie's dog come with him? Or are there no pets allowed?
