CB Disaster Thread!!!

CB Disaster Thread!!!

*Stretches RPing muscles* Ow. It's been a very long time since I've done any roleplaying. So this is a celebratory RP--thing. Celebrating the fact that I can finally do RPs, because I have more frequent--if slightly reduced--computer time.

~~

So, this is something that I've been pondering for quite a while. It's not exactly an RP--although, we will be doing RPing, but we'll also be talking and figuring out problems and things.

*Sighs in exasperation* Here, I'll just give you the explanation of what exactly this is.

~~

It's summer. Beautiful weather, fragrant flowers, no school. The CB is doing fine. It hasn't had a war in months and months, and everyone's getting along nicely...until one day, when a CB without a recognizable identity stumbles into the CB town hall.

He gasps and falls to the floor, utterly exhausted. The CBers jump up and crowd around him, a murmur of questions surrounding them.

The CBer raises his head slightly, his face streaked with dirt.

"The Admins have been kidnapped," he manages to breath, before he slumps to the floor and takes his last breath. It's then that they notice the arrow sticking out of his back, a large stain of dark red soaking into his shirt.

The CBers erupt into chaos, and start shouting at each other to be heard.

"The Admins--"

"He's dead--"

"What will happen without the Admins--"

"We're doomed--"

"What do we do--"

Then a short, brown-haired girl scrambles onto the table and raises her hand as far above her head as she can.

Everyone quiets down and looks at her.

"CBers!" She says, her voice quiet.. "What do we do? We survive, that's what we do. Haven't we survived before?"

She pauses, letting her words sink in. "Why don't we take it into our own hands and rescue the Admins? No one else is going to do it."

A hand pops up out of the crowd, followed by a question. "But where are the Admins?"

The girl smiles eerily. "Well, we're going to find out, aren't we?"

~~

This is part RP, part chat room. We need to find the Admins (BTW, sorry, Admins! I'm just, like, spontaneously kidnapping you.) and rescue them, before anything else tragic happens.

It's kind of like how Kyngdom works--people talk, agree on the best course of action, do some RPing, talk some more--like that.

There isn't a limit to the amount of people that can join, (we'll need all the help we've got!) but I'll start it around May 5th. (Not neccessarily on May 5th.) After that, you can join and we'll "meet" you in the story--and wandering CBer--and you can join our adventure.

So, now that I've explained it all, we can have the charrie sheets--

Charrie Sheet

CB Name:

Age: (if you don't want to say your real age, just pick a random age)

Appearance: (CB appearance or real life appearance)

Personality:

Weapon of choice: (doesn't have to be a weapon, like a sword or bow. It can be--oh, for heaven's sake--a frying pan or something.)

Other:

My Charrie Sheet

CB Name: Leafpool

Age: 11 and 5/8

Appearance: Waist-length light brown hair that is hardly ever waist length because it's always in waves from her braids. Brown eyes; a couple random freckles in random places on her face; pretty short for her age. (Ack, only 4' 3".) Usually wears something fashionable but comfortable. Has kind of tannish/mediumish skin, compared the rest of her family.

Personality: Tries to include everyone, loves social time, tries to control her (awful) temper but it sometimes comes out. Has the very rare disease "bookaddictionitis" which makes her take a 367-page book home from the library at 3:30 in the afternoon, watch a movie from 5:45 to 8:00, go to bed at 10:00, and yet still have it finished by 8:00 a.m. the next day. Will go into hysterical laughter at random things, also tends to jabber on and on until her parents tell her to stop. (A typical 11-year-old.) Also sometimes has random mood swings. (Also a typical 11-year-old.) Loves writing, too.

Weapon of choice: A bow that's slung over her back on a crossbody belt, with a quiver of arrows.

Other: Leads the adventure.

Ooooh, this is exciting! I've never been kidnapped before. I'm anxiously awaiting the outcome. . . .

Will our ventures take us into unexplored lands (hint, hint, Kyngdom)? Anyway, all of us are welcome to stop by the CB mall anytime! Especially if you want to pick up a money deposit from Gringotts. That place is in CaC.

Well, I think we'll just stay on this thread. Kyngdom confuses me anyway. But we'll roleplay as going through BaB. I'm thinking it's probably like a dark, shady forest with imaginary creatures that can pop out at you at any moment. At least for this roleplay.

~~

Me~

Epic Fangirl pushes her way through the CBers to me, Icy tagging along behind her.

"Leafpool--Leafpool, the arrow that killed the anonymous CBer--it's from Blab about Books." She pants. The breeze lifts her dark brown hair, whipping it around her face as we keep walking--on through the tree-lined pathways that connect all the major places in the Chatterbox.

I flick my eyes over to her. "You think so?"

Icy comes up next to Epic Fangirl. "The feathers were green. It's a common color for arrows that come from BaB."

I nod, my mind racing though I try to conceal it in my expression. BaB. Green feathers. Could the mystery CBer--

I didn't get to finish the sentence, because at that moment I felt my boot stub against something in the path and I fell flat on my face, my knee scraping against the paved path.

For a moment I didn't notice the pain. I was floating, like somehow I had escaped myself--and then I fell back to the ground and I realized that my leg was bleeding.

I bit my lip to stop myself from making a noise. The blood was oozing out of a scrape just below my knee, staining my leggings a dark reddish brown. Icy and Epic Fangirl looked down at me in concern. Then Danie runs up, clutching something. The object I tripped over.

"Look--look! It's a message!"

As the group splits into two, one smaller group looking for information on the arrow and another checking the library, I scramble up into the scaffolds, needing some quite to think. The CB is always under construction, and so I get to the top quite easily. I know the two groups will follow paths that will collide soon, whether within the next minute or the next few hours. Me? I want to know how that old CBer got wounded, why he came back, and how he knew the Admins were kidnapped before anyone else. Thousands of questions pound my brain: Why has everything been so calm without the Admins? Is there another force keeping the peace? WHERE DID THAT KID COME FROM AND HOW IN THE WORLD DID HE GET HURT???? Sighing, I say to myself,"Mango, this isn't going to get you anywhere. Just go down and look for clues on another path. You can search to see how and where that old CBer first entered." Looking down through the blur of scaffolding, I see someone has heard me. They're looking up curiously and so I motion for them to come up, saying "I'm going to check on how that person got here, I think it will give clues on what happened. I'm going to go follow their trail, he must have left footprints. What do you think, do you want to come?"

~Lucy B.

Hold up.  I stop, right where I am.  I justthought of an idea.  "Wait a minute," I say to myself.  I jog back along the gravel road to where the body of the dead CBer was.

I didn't get a good look at his face bofore he fell.  I wonder if I can actually do some good by searching him.

That's a weird thing to do, a little voice in the back of my head says.  I ignore it.  We need all the help we can get, even if it is no help at all.  I think the easiest thing to do right now will be to chech his pockets.  I also heard something about the arrow.  It's still there, right?  If I can find Leafdpool or Icy, maybe I can give it to them.

I kneel down and examine the arrow.  Green feathers, plain shaft.  Nothing fancy.  But maybe I can figure something out just by that.  If the arrow is from BaB, the CBer (if it even WAS a CBer) who killed them would probably be in BaB a lot, or else it wouldn't've been a BaB arrow.  I pull it out of his back and put it in my hoodie pocket.  Then, I empty his pockets.  I find a pencil, and a crumpled piece of paper.

BaB would probably have creatures who prey on unsuspecting CBers and force them to tell their opinions about books and shipping. XD

The kidnapper could be Falmiriel! I was searching through the back threads and I found him.

Moi~

Trying to get through the crowd, I reach Lucy, and notice her kneeling down at something.

"Hullo," I say. "What's that?"

She looks back surprised but scoots aside. "I'm just checking the CBer's pockets. So far I've uncovered a pencil and a crumpled piece of paper."

She hands me the pencil and slowly starts to unfold the piece of paper. Some of the markings are smudged, so it's a bit hard to read, but some of it is clear. Looks like this CBer likes to take notes.

Lead the ..ers to the BaB. Trap them there.

Lucy and I look at each other wide-eyed, but it's too late. The group has already split up.

"We have to go back and warn them!" she shouts.

I nod and go through the crowd, looking for something high to stand on. I climb up a boulder like thing, and clear my throat. Faces turn.

Oh goodness gracious. I've never stood on a soapbox thing before.

"Erm...Lucy and I just found out that the BaB is a trap. We have to go help the others before it's too late."

That was enough, so I leap down, my fox tail trailing through the quick wind.

Pretty soon we are all assembled, and we are ready to go warn the others.

Nooooooo, all my work was deleted! Now I must start again!

trying some third person here.

unsuspectingstrytllr was in the background. She didn't even notice when the shot CBer stumbled into the room. "What held her attention?" you may ask. "What was so interesting that she didn't notice a dying CBer?" Well reader, she was writing. "Writing!" you exclaim. "Why in the CB what's she writing?!" But you don't understand reader. Writing took a hold on unsuspecting. It spoke to her, gave her words. She often didn't even know what she was writing until she looked down. Now, there is something almost all CBers have reader. It is called an Æ or Alter Ago. At this moment, a boy with crazy hair and a pale complexion materialized next to her.

Preasuemably her Æ, the boy said, "Hey Teller what's u-OH MY BREEZES IS THAT A DEAD BODY?!?!?!" unsuspectingstrytllr jerked out of her trance.

"Huh? What? Oh. Yeah, it looks like it is." At this moment she noticed that no one was in the room, besides the unidentifiable CBer that you know is dead and blah blah blah.

"Why has she not been organized into one of those groups?" you ask. Well reader, unsuspectingstrytllr is not usually noticed. In fact, this was furstered by the fact that the window seat she was sitting on had been previously cornered by a curatain.

"WHAT IS A DEAD BODY DOING IN-"

"Hey Wind," the girl interrupted. "Do you know where everyone went?"

"How did you not notice what was going on including that DEAD BODY?!?! Anyways, I just got here. How would I know? Hey, if you were concentrating so hard whatever you wrote must have been good. Here, give me the notebook."

"Ok..." unsuspecting warily handed it over.

"'Chatter filled the room. The CBers talked about stories, good reads, and the latest news. Suddenly an unknown CBer staggered in. Gasps sounded from all corners. The CBer had an arrow in his side. 'The Admins,' he said, his voice almost a whisper. 'have been kidnaped!' Then he collapsed on the ground, not a trace of life left. Panic overflowed. Consistent talking became a roar. Then Leafpool stepped forward...' Wow Teller. Looks like you got exactly what happened down on paper."

"But-" Just then a door opened from the other side of the room.

"There you are unsuspecting! We thought you had been kiddnaped!" And the boy who was supposedly her Æ disappeared, there was no more time to talk about what she had written.

"Leafy? What's the mes--"

Thwit.

An arrow embeds itself into a tree trunk, just above where Leafy's head would be if she hadn't have tripped.

Then more, a consistent barrage flying in the air around us, like little green birds. "Stop the raiders!" I hear a voice, concealed in the trees, yell.

Ice swirls through the air at my thoughts, and suddenly a shield of ice, or at least something shaped like a shield and made of ice, hovers in the air in front of me.

"I think we're surrounded!" RP pants.

"Doomed minds think alike."  I agree, shooting ice spikes into the woods at random.

A arrow whistles past and shatters the shield. I concentrate--not enough mana.

"Anyone see a way out!?"

Then our attackers step out of the shade of the trees.

~Me

I sprint down the path to BaB, ignoring my urge to stop.  We can't let them get trapped there!  IF we did, that would eliminate like, half of the CBers!  I glance at Killm, next to me, probably thinking the same thing.

I see the teal gates to BaB, the name written in crystal across it, and stumble to a stop, tripping on a pebble as I go.  I get up again, my cheek aching from face-planting, and gasp, "Where . . .  Are they?"

Ack!

Stumbling along in the small crowd following Killim and Lucy, I rushed towards the teal gates of BaB. Lucy and Killim stopped.

"What are you doing, why did you stop?" I asked, barely out of breath.

"It's just...if we go...in there too...then we...could die as well." Killim panted.

"You know what?" I crowed. "We've made it this far. No turning back now!" I called. I tugged open the gates to BaB. I felt Killim's fox tail whip mine as I ran in.

"Wait, Inky! We don't know where they went!"

"Well, I do!" I called back, already halfway down the road to the forest. "Now, come ON!" As I sprinted through the brambles with cat-like agility, I worried, following my gut along the twisting, winding paths. Suddenly, a tangy, faint scent hit my nose. I stopped sharply as the rest of the CB came up behiND me. Bending down, the smell got stronger, and I noticed a streak of blood on the  ground. Before I could speak, Unsuspctingstryllr came up behind me and squeaked out between pants.

"Blood." I raised my eyes to hers. Were we too late, or were they close?

Your patronus is a weasel and yet you wish death to them . . .

RP ~

BaB is bad. As in Kronos bad. Maybe not Voldy bad but still . . . it's bad. I see a few CBers rush out from a building that says The School For Good and Evil. "Hey!" I yell, "I gathered you! I invented that thread!"

They stop confused. I facepalm. A confused CBer stops. "Who are you?" he demands.

"RP," I utter.

"General Waffleson," he says, whipping out a white flag.

"You might want to stay here because it's the only thread for CBmiles. The next one is in a village, but you don't want to go there. The inhabitants of Ships are pretty vicious to intruders. Moonlight was their founder," I tells me.

"I think we'll set up camp here," I say, eyeing the tiny, three person hut.

"Oh, don't worry," he says, seeing my look, "It'll magically enlarge if you comment."

"It's decor is SGE based though," he adds.

I groan. I call to the other CBers. "Hey! I found a place to stay!" I yell, "I built it myself. We are NOT going to the village of Ships. General tells me the inhabitants are vicious."

Everyone looks at me. "Oh, I forgot. This is General Waffleson," I introduce.

"Hi, I'm only staying for a few days," he says.

~~~
Now you have to comment on the BaB thread or else you're stuck making camp in the woods! MWAHAHAHA! Also, I just realized, my CAPTCHA has NEVER in her life said a word that begins with "j".
