Haha, when you said '*Mary, not Trixy', it ended up being a whole new thread. ;) Anyway, I've heard that the principal at a school I know of seriously says swears over the microphone thingy to all the classrooms.  He says 'that students should get used to hearing those words, so they will not panic when hearing them in public.'  I mean, can you talk about an awful principal?!?  And just imagine what the teachers are like!!!!!  It's like a living nightmare there, from what I've heard!!!  Oh, and, the most terriblest teacher in the 7th grade is actually moving up to 8th grade next year, so everybuggy is going to get him again!!!  Hmm, maybe my "friends" will get him...

Me and my sisters are homeschooled, so we are working through the summer ( sad sigh). I like being homeschooled, except for the fact that you can work through holidays. Christopher Paolini ( author of Inherentince series ) was a homeschooler. I wonder if he ever felt the same way.

I got out on the 11th. I've had a good year. I'd homeschooled since 3rd grade so 5th grade at school was exciting. I'm going into middle school & I'm SO EXCITED!

I'm entering middle school too and I'm positively ecstatic. It's going to be SO MUCH BETTER than last year... *happy sigh*

I LOVED my first year at middle-school, Mary!!! It was so awesome! That's really stupid that your teacher got mad at you for being smart and using big words! It's like "You're smart beyond all belief and aren't like the "average" kids, so I'm going to put you down and wrongly criticizes you until you feel like an idiot whenever you use words that most kids your age don't know....Or maybe I'll do it whenever, just to make you feel bad!" If I had that teacher I would- *notices everyone staring* *runs behind chair* Sorry, I tend to go off on verbal rampages when I get mad....*dodges flying pan* *gives virtual sympathy hug to Mary* *hides again*  :D :D :D

Thanks, Emma! *returns hugs* Let me finish your sentence, if you had a teacher like that you'd rant about her in a private journal which she then infiltrates and steals. Yes? (*coughthathappenedcough*)

@ Jonathan: Aargh! I feel your pain! *sympathy*

Yikes!  YOUR TEACHER STOLE YOUR JOURNAL?!  That's crossing the line!  Also, I agree that your teachers are horrible if they critisize you for being smarter than everybody else!  Also, the one who called you verbose is a hypocrite.  Tell me where your school is (not really, since Admin. whoud cut it out anyway) so that I can send a very stern letter to the dean or whoever is the head there.

Wow. I'm really sorry Mary. *gives virtual pie*. I'm starting middle school next year too. I'm trying to see if I can skip 6th grade and go straight to 7th, but the test isn't till July. It gets rather annoying sometimes not knowing what grade I'm in, but if I can actually be challenged a bit in classes, it'll be worth it.
