Chatterbox: Inkwell

Admins, I have

Admins, I have a question. I read Abi's story before and after it was edited. What are the limits on what is allowed to be posted here?

Of course, adult material isn't allowed, nor should it be. But what are the limits? You can mention, say, crushes or falling in love, but kissing isn't allowed? And there are stories like ski lodges where people murder each other, but no hot sauce bottles?

I'm sorry if I sound at all rude, I don't mean it that way. I'm just genuinely curious. Is there a concrete set of rules, or is it up to each Admin editing?

We can't specifically list each item or action that is not allowed. Admins use their own judgment in applying our guidelines of comments being respectful, kind, and appropriate for even our youngest Chatterboxers. Generally mature teenage themes are not allowed, including gore and horror. Mention of romance may be OK, but no specific actions. Yes, the ski lodges do include murders, but the emphasis is on the mystery, and we find most of them actually funny. When some things come up for the first time, the editors/Admins may take a few days or longer to discuss pros and cons of the issue.
