Appearance: Dark brown hair, green eyes, super thick Ray-Ban glasses (their mother calls them 'coke-bottle glasses'), short for their age ( 5'0", no more, no less), darker skin

What might their magical power be: No powers :)

Other: They/them pronouns if you don't mind, please!

@September: All of the characters have magical powers. Should I come up with one? Also, the cabins are divided by gender. Which cabin should I put them in?

For reference, here are the cabins:

Maple Cabin (The counselors are Richard and Atlas): Jay (SJay), Jeff (Gared)

Birch Cabin (The counselors are Tim and Sam- Sam also does the elective): Will (Kitten)

Cherry Cabin (The counselors are Cindy and Clarissa): Zag (KtG), Heather (Zen)

Apple Cabin (The counselors are Anna and Megan): Evie (Kitten), Jessica (KtG)

Name: Heather Fisher

Age: 13 or 14 never really talkes about her age.

Gender: Female.

Personality: Keeps to herself, quiet, the only people she talks to are usually friends, or crushes. When she does talk she whispers. Not really shy not little shy medium shy? Glass half empty for her mostly.

Appearance: Ooooooh can she have wings, sorry I just really like wings. No wings I am okay with that, so don't worry. Wears a baggy green shirt, blue Jean shorts to go with it sometimes a baseball cap (backwards) to go with it. Pale skin, blue eyes, black hair. Also if she does have wings she would keep then hidden, with an San Francisco hoodie. Has marking on back, and shoulder, she doesn't know where she got them, they are blood red. Looks like that person that you immediately think they are a killer.

Magical power:  Maybe..................to make a force like a force field?

She is up for shipping.

Remember that they can't know they are magical before they come, so no wings. Force fields is already taken, so maybe flight, since you like wings?

@September, I like the idea of having a character that doesn't identify as either gender. I would like you to submit the rest of your sheet very soon.

I am going to start the solo write! I will be offline for a while tomorrow, so I am going to write it on paper and type it up bit by bit.

Yeah okay I am fine with that.

The o on the Captcha has a little sad face on it, yeah o, I am pretty sad that people are trying to take +'s thread down.

I don't know that anyone is trying to take any thread down.

@Kitten. Sure that seems like a great power. Maybe she heals super quickly or something? Your choice.

Part One

Evie

Welcome to Camp Antelope! the sign happily proclaims. Ugh, I think, Why does it have to assume we're looking forward to camp? Mom somehow reads my mind and says, "Do you think you're going to have fun here?"

"No," I tell her, "I didn't want to come in the first place."

"Well, you're here now, so put on a happy face and give it a chance."

"Fine."

She gives me a quick hug and leaves. Now I'm stuck here alone, at this place where I didn't want to be.

My new counselors gather us up, sit us in a circle, and ask us to share our names and something about us. I freak out for a few seconds as the girl before me speaks.

"My name is Jessica and I like riddles," she says, her blue-dyed hair swaying as wind blows through the window. I take her example and say a short sentence.

"I'm Evie and I like reading." Then attention shifts from me and I can breathe again.

No one is particularly interesting, so I tune it our until the counselors mention electives. I look at the sticker Anna hands me. It tells me my elective is Magic Exploration. Yes! I think. It's exactly what I wanted.

I get to go to the elective now. It meets at the forest, so I hike through the rest of camp to get there. Noticing that Jessica is coming too, I silently walk next to her.

When we arrive at the forst, the rest of the kids are also just getting there. I see a boy with a scar down the side of his face next to another boy, this one with black hair and green-brown eyes. There's also a girl with beautiful dark hair by a mean-looking girl whose skin is pale. Standing by themselves is a kid with pretty green eyes and dark brown hair. Just arriving is an energetic boy with almond colored skin.

At the front is a young man with fiery red hair. "Alright, is everybody here? Let's see, 2-4-6-8, yep, we're all here," he says, "So, this is not a normal elective. What we are going to be doing is very exciting and top-secret, so before we begin I would like you to follow me to a safe spot."

Part 2

Nika

I follow the counselor of the elective into the forest. I'm very excited. A special elective? That's going to be super fun! Although, why is it top-secret? That is worrying.

The group stops moving forward and I look around. Is this the safe spot? The end of a path between a cliff over the lake and the edge of the forest? Just as I open my mouth to ask about it, the counselor steps into a tree and disappears.

"What just happened?" I ask.

He reappears and says, "Oh, I should have told you. Follow me. It's perfectly safe."

Then he disappears again.

"Um, okay," says an Asian girl, and she follows the counselor into the tree. One by one, the rest of the group follows him. When it seems to be my turn, I go after them.

I find myself in an empty space. There are no walls, and it looks to never end. The girl that went in first beckons me over to the cluster of people from the elective. When everyone is in, the man speaks.

"My name is Sam. I couldn't tell you out there because I am being hunted by an evil group. This group wants to capture all the magical people and use them for nefarious purposes. It sounds like it comes from a book, right? But it's real. You are in this elective because you all have the power to do magic."

"What kind of magic?" pops in a boy with a scar.

"I'll show you," says Sam, and makes a fireball, which he then eats.

"Wow," we say.

"Now, let's introduce ourselves and figure out what our powers might be. Let's all get in a circle."

We do.

"We can start with you," he says, pointing at me, "What's your name?"

"My name is Nika," I tell the group.

"Okay, and what is a hobby of yours, or something you like?"

"I like animals."

"So, your power might be communicating with animals, or turning into one. Does anyone have an idea for how we can test that?"

"What if we get a squirrel from the forest and see if she can talk to it?" suggests a suspicious-looking girl.

"Alright, why don't you go get one?" says Sam.

"Um, how do I get back there?" she asks.

"Oh, the doorway is just over there. We're in a little invisble bubble," he tells her.

She goes out and comes back with a squirrel in her hands. "I was going to get the best acorn! Where am I? I don't see any acorns," it squeaks.

On instinct, I reply. "You're going to get back to your tree very soon, little squirrel."

The group stares at me. "I guess your power is communicating with animals!" says Sam.

@KtG, I think this is a good amount of characters. Also, I changed Jessica's power to being able to swim underwater.

Part Three

Jeff

"Alright," says Sam, the counselor, "We've found the power of one person, now let's figure it out for the rest of you. So, next would be you." He points at me.

"I'm Jeff, and I like, well, to keep people away from me," I say.

"Really?" he asks skeptically. I nod. "Then maybe your power is to make force fields."

"How would I test that?" I wonder.

"Well, this is something I knew I would have to explain. Listen up, everyone. You see, while some powers just happen, without any thought, others require you to call them up. For example, if I want to make a fireball, I have to think about it really hard. Everyone will find some way that works for them," says Sam.

I start thinking about making a force field around myself. Suddenly Nika gets thrown back.

"Wow," I say, "It worked!"

I lower the force field and motion that Nika can come back in.

"Nice," says Sam, "Now, let's keep going around the circle."

"I guess I'm next," says the girl next to me quietly, "I'm Heather, and I like doing anything in the air."

"Why don't you just think about the wind, or flying, or anything else until something works?" suggests Sam. I can tell that she listened to him and is concentrating. Then she shoots into the air.

"You can fly!" says Sam, "Can you come back down now?" She nods and sinks gracefully to the ground.

"I'm next," says an Asian girl, "My name is Zag and I like defending my friends."

"Have you noticed if you can be hurt?" asks Sam.

"Actually, it never seems to hurt when something happens to me, so I guess that's my power! That was easy!" Zag says.

"Okay, I'm next. My name is Jay and I like panthers," says Jay.

"Maybe you can run super fast or turn into a panther?" suggests Sam.

"Well, I'm just an average runner, so possibly the second one," says Jay. It looks like he is thinking hard, and then he becomes a panther. A second later, he turns himself back. "That was cool!" he says.

"Now it's my turn," says a boy with almond-colored skin, "I'm Will and I like sports."

"Hm, that's hard. Are you particularly good at anything in sports?" asks Sam.

"Not excessively, but maybe I could blow wind," says Will. He thinks hard, and a huge gust of wind sweeps the group.

"I guess it's my turn," says a girl with blue highlights in her dirty blonde hair, "I'm Jessica and I like swimming."

"Are you a fast swimmer or can you breathe underwater or see clearly?" suggests Sam.

"I guess I can swim for a while without coming up for air, but I never thought about if I could actually breathe water," says Jessica.

"Let's put your power on hold until swim time. You can test it out then," says Sam.

"Okay," she responds.

"I'm last, and my name is Evie. I like reading and learning about other places," says Evie.

"Can you teleport to other places or understand other languages?" asks Sam. She thinks hard, then speaks.

"I can't teleport, but maybe I can understand other languages?"

Jessica says something in French and Evie starts laughing. We stare at her. "Jessica said, 'Where is the bathroom?'" she explains.

"Great! All of you have your powers! Now let's work on using them," says Sam.
