I gazed at

Chatterbox: Inkwell

I gazed at

I gazed at the stars. The twinkled in the night, and I wondered if they were planets. But they were not. I'm not sure what they were made out. I would call it light. I know I'm wrong.

I was siting on the fence. I am a cat, with black fur, and green eyes. My mother always said I blended into the night. "A living shadow" she would meow, rubbing her cheek against my cheek. I missed her. She had died by the paws of a monster. She had told me she was going on a important mission, before she left for her death. Apparently she had to cross a road to get to were ever she was supposed to go.

I jumped down, and wanderred back inside my house. My mother had been the only relative I had known. She had been my caretaker. When she died had humans found me and brought me here.  I liked the humans and the house, but I wanted to go back to the forest.

I had tried once, but the humans had captured me again. Since, then I had given up all hope of escaping. I sighed, curling up in a ball on the crouch.

Knock

I glanced up and saw my nieghbor Meow at my screen door. I walked up to her, curouis. She started backing up and bececioned me to her. I slid out of the catflap.

"What do you want?"

"I want to escape."

I stared at her, surprised. She never seemed like the forest tpye. "Thats impossible!"

Meow grinned. "Not with two of us"

She had a fair piont. There was a small chance of hope with her helping me. "Okay" I agreed.

We snuck in the shadow until we arrived at the fence. I don't know why we snuck around. It would of been easy to just cross the grass and jump over the fence. Oh well.

We jumped over the fence. The scent of forest touch my ose. I welcomed it. I looked at Meow. he eyes were full excitment.

We ran deeper into the forest. I was finally free!!!!!!!!!
