The Play Project

Okay. So, today during math class, I had this random- possibly amazing, possibly pathetic- idea. We all RP, right? And we do solo writes, too? So, why can't we write a play or a musical in the form of an RP or solo write?

Here's roughly how my idea goes:

1. We suggest possible plots.

2. We vote on the plot.

3. We make charries according to a sheet I will post at that time.

4.We Write! (Mainly me, but you can post some parts if you want to. It's not required, though. You can also post any songs you make up for it, anything. And I will be accepting critique and edits at any point in time.)

5. We edit if needed.

6. Well, we could RP our AEs performing the play....

Okay, here are some plot ideas:

a. Word Kingdom- our charries live in a place where words rule the world- and are sent on a quest when the words start disappearing

b. A realistic fiction about normal kids at school (the classic)

c.  Different dimensions- someone could elaborate on this

Feel free to add your own!

Crossing my fingers and hoping his works.

Oops, my AEs are rubbing off on me.  Anyways, I think this is a great idea!!  I really like the different dimentions one, but I don't know how to elaborate on it, aside from having a opposite world where everyone is the opposite of who they're supposed to be.

But here are my ideas:

- A mystery, like someone's AE was killed and everyone thinks it was the other AE even though they deny it.

- Song warriors.  Basically this is like the story I was writing on here that I kind of got bored of, where someone has magic tailored to a song.

Hmmm... I kind of like the opposite dimension thing, or maybe a bunch of different parallel dimensions where things in the past were changed, like the British won the American Revolution, so things are different now (like a time travel Back to the Future thing).

Great idea.

as for play inspiration, a lot of the best plays are parodies of others. Some of my best acting experiences were in Romeo and Harriet and The Princess King

The play doesn't have to be about AEs. We can make it with characters like in a regular RP.

This awesome elementgirl! I like the word idea. If we do that one, I have a GREAT setting for a part of it: a forest consisting of paper-bark trees and trees that excrete an ink-like substance. Just grab a stick and start writing! Or drawing!

(note: this setting is patented.)
