So, this is a Redwall RP. As you can see, if you read the....inscription. Yes. SO, I have read.... many.... many many manymanymany of the books, and own several of them. I'm thinking this RP will be in right after Mattimeo's kidnapping. As in, he's returned to Redwall, and maybe one season has passed since then. I was thinking that even if your Charrie is a, ah, 'vermin', (ie/eg, rat, fox, wolf, bla blah blah ect) your charrie DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EVIL. A rather unfortunate side effect of always having 'vermin' as the evil characters, is that after a while... well, at least I personally get tired of never having a re-formed 'vermin' character. I mean, would it kill you to write a cool story about being a good fox or rat? About fighting against other's species-ism?! At the least we can do it here.
So, I was thinking that if one of you wants to, you could play a villian character! Just so then we already have conflinct starting. Maybe a wildcat? Or perhaps we could take turns writing from the villian's perspective. Whichever we decide, there is a limit (Sorry, just lots of characters gets confusing) of 5-7 characters. There are no 'main' characters or anything like that. We will (Hopefully) all have a part to play. The character sheet now: (PS, you don't have to write an especially detailed description of your charrie's personality, just enough for other people to accurately depict your charrie. There can be some character-development going on.)

YES, CHINCHILLA! YESSSS. So pumped for this! Ive been waiting for an RP like this! Although *cough* you MAy have to cetch me up on the whole... um, well. *cough* What actually happened to Mattimeo... heh, Ive only read the first... series? And I was only halfway through the Mattimeo book... but I would like to know what actually... happened. *Smiles*
Name: Varnick (Mcfurryface.. naw im totaly just kidding you XP)
Age: 29 moons
Species: Fox
Gender: M
Appearance: He is a Marble fox. Very, very light grey fur, grey and black markings around his eyes and face. Ill show a picture later.
Personality: Varnick is, in a word, loose. He is always willing to help out with the good side, but he sometimes just goes his own way. He can is fun loving and go lucky. He is kind, but not really a "good influence" so to speak. Hes loyal enough, but he can sometimes just be on survival mode (ya know life this winter ive been on survival mode ALL WINTER :( )
Other: He doesnt have much of a backstory, although he is a wanderer now. He kind of just travels wherever he wants to, and meets friends wherever he goes.

@Chinchilla: I've been so wanting to do a Redwall RP for a long time and I was about to create one only you beat me to it!!! I have a couple of suggestions and questions.
#1: Who is controlling Martin the Warrior? You or someone else?
#2: Could we make this set not in a specific Redwall timeframe so everyone can create original characters and not be tempted to use already thought up ones?
#3: Can we use Redwall accents for our characters?
#4: Who is the main villain?
#5: Is it mostly set at Redwall or Salamandastron?
These are all I can think of for now. More questions might pop up later. Feel free to answer as many as you like. I'm a total Redwall fan and have read close to all the books. Anyway: Redwalllll! Eualiaaaaaaa! Blooood and Vinnagarr!

@TuxedoKitten, yeah, this RP is open to all Redwall readers! It totally doesn't matter if you haven't read a lot of the books! Since I literally just finished reading Mattimeo today, I can tell you how it ended! But it's a lot better if you read the book.
@Codesmith (Nice name by the way), good questions.
1. I can honestly say that I didn't think about who will control Martin, but I would say that we each control what he does to a reasonable extent. No posting from his point of view, but definitely him doing things. Sooo, kind of no but yes!
2. Hmm. Keeping the time frame abstract, as in no specifics, is a good idea. I was thinking that all the original characters are sacrosanct, so nobody can RP as them, but our characters can still interact with them and percieve them. Like NPCs. Yes, I was thinking that the time frame would be exact so that (What with the confusing history of Redwall-I mean, WHAT IS THE ACTUAL CHRONOLIGICAL ORDER OF THE BOOKS) we can showcase certain characters. Certain questions, like, "Is Mattimeo dead yet?" should be sorted out. Maybe we could all figure out a rough time-frame for our charries to be in? You're right that it could be confusing for people who haven't read the books yet. So, erm, we can figure that out together!
3. Sure! Personally, I don't actually have a fixed idea in my head of what a 'Redwall accent' sounds like, but if someone has a faint Redwall accent, then we could make that perhaps harken to Redwall ancestors or something. So, Yes!
4. Hmm. Hard question. I was thinking that the main villain would be a fox... still haven't figured out the details. I was thinking he would be burning and pillaging through the country, eventually coming to Redwall.
5. Mostly set in Redwall and the surrounding woods, but unless we agree on a siege, I was thinking that our characters would be traveling abroad, after meeting in Redwall, to either hunt down ze villainous fox/main villian (If we had two villains warring against each other, with Redwall caught in the middle, that might be interesting.), or to do something else.

Ugh I really want to join this. (I've read all the Redwall books, each one at least four or five times, I have them all, and I've also read some other Brian Jacques stuff. I practically grew up on it.) But I can't. I don't have time and I banned myself from roleplays until 2019. But have fun, guys. Chinchilla, I forgot you liked Redwall! And I didn't know Tux did, either. Not many fans out there, apparently. Especially because Cho and company left.

Totally Lyra! A gang of bad otters and sea creatures would be an AWESOME new spin on a gang of villains. Totally! Pretty much just make the characters that you wish were in the actual Redwall books! (Unless like mine I would prefer to write his story. Sorry Jaques! Also sorry for spelling your last name wrong. Bummer about that.)

Age (Roughly): Hmm... right now, a bit older than the dibbuns (Redwall word for toddlers and really young kids)... for human years, he's about... 13 maybe? But he seems a lot older than that intellectually.
Species (Mouse,fox,wildcat, ect): Fox.
Gender: Male.
Appearance: Your usual fox. Black stocking, red/brownish fur. The black on his legs is very well defined. His snout is longish, and his eyes are hazel. (Also, I always imagine all the animals walking on their hind legs in the stories, so let's just say they do...? Unless there is an objection.) Usually wears a short-sleeved shirt with a slight hood, dar green... imagine medieval style. Baggy pants, light brown, that stop just past his ankles-REMEMBER PEOPLE, THAT LONG BIT IN A DOG'S LEG IS ACTUALLY IT'S FOOT. THAT BEND IN THE LEG THAT LOOKS LIKE A BACKWARDS-FACING KNEE IS ACTUALLY THEIR ANKLE. AND THEIR KNEE-I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE THAT IS, IT'S JUST HIDDEN BY FUR. But it looks like his pants stop about where the knee should be on a human.
Personality: Quiet. Deeply marked by his parent's death. He's also planning to go and avenge his parents' death... by KILLING the evil guy who killed his parents-see downwards for his backstory... actually |I'll post it later, this post is already long enough as it is.

Sorry for posting this in two posts, Admins! Just I didn't want the other post to be too long.
Wow, that is... a very inadequate reason.... sorry Admins.
Backstory: He was raised peacefully by woodmice-they lived in a cottage very close to Redwall, but they didn't often visit it. He was found in a ditch by the side of the road. He was brought up with two other siblings, Adelfos and Eros. Brother and sister. Then (Quick summary here) their cottage was attacked by (THE EVIL GOY), and his brother and parents died. He and his remaining sibling fleed to Redwall, where he now lives.
Seven people have joined! Only (But this is loose, I can totally make it less or more to taste).... whoops, no charrie spots left, apparently! We will have a bunch of NPCs and whatnot, but if someone really wants to join, then I will make an exception! Also, not a lot of Redwall Rps around right now, so if you do want to jin, I''m fine with it!

Age (Roughly): The equivelent of fifteen.
Species (Mouse,fox,wildcat, ect): Wildcat.
Gender: F
Appearance: Blazing gold eyes, brown fur, 5''3' with a permanent tear in her left ear from an encounter with a fox.
Personality: Benevolent, brave, seeks atonement for the deeds of her father, will stop at nothing to do what she believes is right.
Other (Favourate weapon, backstory, ect.): her father was a warlord whose tyrannical rule of a country far over the sea to the west was brought down by a group of freedom fighters...but, unbeknownst to her, her father (and several of his most loyal supporters) still live.(I MAY wright a fanfic off of her.). She carries two swords, one that can freeze and one that can burst into flame. (I'll draw them later.) also, maybe she's a distant reletive to the Greeneyes?

Alrighty, here we gooooo.
Name: Sana (SAH-nuh) Marrawain
Age(Roughly): A juvenile fox, about the equivalent of a 15 or 16 or 17-year-old human
Gender: F
Appearance: Sana has darkish gray, shaggy fur, a white-tipped tail, and starting from her knees, her legs darken into black, and she has piercing amber eyes with a golden glint to them
Personality: Quiet, reserved, introverted, not one for much talking. Very to the point, hates being stared at, and is a bit shy, and kind of surly in demeanor. Doesn't lose her temper easily but is quite Snape-like when angry.
Other: Was orphaned as a kit and carries a bow and arrows.
