Hi! I'm Agent Winter. I'm a Marvel geek, I have a crush on the Winter Soldier, I collect Avengers trading cards, and I just saw Avengers: Infinity War for the first time. I was wondering if any other Chatterboxers have seen it too? This is a thread where you can post your comments and theories about Infinity War.

So I hope the comic and the movie storylines fit together, with Nebula and everything. (In the comics, Nebula gets the gauntlet but I wouldn’t be surprised if they had Iron Man do it since he started it all.)
Also, the 1 out of 14 million chance of winning thang Doctor Strange talked about will happen, because right before he dissolved he said something like “It had to be done.” I also love how they made this Peter Parker seem more like a young kid than the other Spidermen (“I don’t wanna go Mr. Stark, please, I don’t wanna go), but it broke me heart. D;
And Gamora....DDDDD;

I cried at the Spider-Man death scene!! Also the fact that Bucky was the first to die. That was so sad and I was totally crying! "Steve..."

Agent Winter was TOTALLY crying in the theater when Bucky died! Like, loudly. It was so embarrasing...

Hey, Agent Winter! I've seen you around but we've never really interacted before. I'm Starseeker, another Marvel fan and someone else who just saw Infinity War for the first time. I, unfortunately, cannot talk about it at this moment, as I will start sobbing, but I will be back later when my emotions are less... volatile. XD Ah, you know it's a good movie when even the title makes you want to cry!

Yeah, I'm a writer, so of course I wrote a fanfic about the movie after watching it (the fic was about my OC, Husky, realizing Bucky, her boyfriend, was dead) and I was crying the whole time I was writing!

And the part when Thanos threw Gamora off the cliff?? And I've already mentioned it but the ending???
But Thanos is a good bad guy (good as in he's good at being bad).
And yes, the part when everyone was turning into dust was heartbreaking.

Why did they have to kill them all?!!
I have a theory though: I think ms.marvel will reverse the affects using the time stone or soul stone and everyone who died except loki and the other asgardian guy will come back ad then m. marvel and everyone else will defeat thanos.
Another theory: Everbody is trapped in the soul stone who turned to dust and gamora.

Okay. I must admit, I have not seen Infinity War. However. Characters like, say, Spiderman make too much money for them to just kill them all off. My dad has a theory that somehow Dr. Strange will be the key to bringing them all back. Annnnnd... *takes a huge breath* INFINITY WAR IS PART ONE OF TWO MOVIES SO THEY HAVE TO NOT BE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *disapparates*

Yeah, my dad says there are supposed to be sequels for the movies of the characters they killed off. And Black Panther made SO MUCH MONEY in the theaters! They are so not going to kill him off for good! Oops spoiler alert. Sorry. Agent Winter posted a warning though.

I totally agree with the whole “they’re not killing them off” thing, but I think that Iron Man will probably be the key component in this, not Strange. Why? Because Doctor Strange specifically said that’d he choose the stone over Iron Man and Peter Parker’s life, but when he had the choice to save the stone or Iron Man, he chose Iron Man. Now, that may have seemed like a good guy moment, but it wasn’t. He clearly looked into the 14 million possibilites of the war before Thanos arrived, and the one possibility where the Avengers won had something to do with Iron Man being the key component to everyone else’s survival, which is why he had to survive. Bam.

OH YEAH! I love that theory. And I totally think all the weird stuff that happened that should have been prevented was a part of the "one out of 14 million ways they could win" thing.
Why did Doctor Strange have to come in and make stuff weird?
