Warriors RP!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Warriors RP!

Warriors RP!

'cause I'm bored! And Finals totally arent next week or anything! Ha...

So. Warriors. Cats. Like the books. I don't know, their's just something fun about doing warriors RPs, right? Its like my whole childhood XD

So You're a cat living in one of the three territories of Lunarclan, Solarclan, and Eclipseclan. You either live in wide-open grasslands with Solarclan, Marshy wetlands and a dry base surrounded by a river with Lunarclan, or a pine forest with Eclipseclan. All three clans are located on a circular island surrounded by a sheer cliff. And off of that cliff is an ocean no one has ever returned from. The cats don't know, but if a cat swam from anywhere but Eclipseclan's territory, they'd find a cliff and a beach leading to land. In the middle of the island, three large rocks stand around a small, star-white pool that is said to glow with the alge of StarClan, said to be a direct connection to their ancestors. This is the Valley of Peace, where clans hold gatherings every full moon, in complete peace, and the pool is where medicine cats go to speak with Starclan.

Everything is peaceful, but all that's about to change. Starclan can see a future where the light goes out. The shadows are rising, the moon has a chance of going out forever and only darkness can bring it back to light. The Solar Eclipse is about to begin.

Rules:

1. Don't make a million cats that you won't be able to keep track of.

2. Don't be rude or OP. If you are, we have the right to kick you from the RP.

3. Dont kill someones charries without asking.

4. Dont introduce something that doesnt make sence with the plot or scene.

5. Be nice!

6. Password is the name of the gathering place and whatever clan your cat is in

6. You can make rouges and kittypets, but your logical explanation for how they got there must be aproved by me!!!

7. I already have a plan for the plot, but feel free to take it any way you like. I might write as Starclan, to show what I mean with the prophecy if we get too lost.

8. No one can have the same prefix. If we ask you to change it and you dont, we'll change it for you. Sorry!

9. No names that dont make sence with the environment. Like, no camels. Or horses.

10. Every apprentice must have a mentor and every kit must have a mother. If they don't, I will assign them one.

Um, have fun! I cant think of any other rules as of now. Same rules apply as with every other Warriors RP I guess!

And now...The long-awaited charrie sheet!

Name:

Age (doesn't have to be in moons):

Clan:

Rank:

Personality:

Appearance:

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Background:

Other/password (if there is one...):

Mine!

Name: Speckledstar

Age (doesn't have to be in moons): younger leader

Clan: Solarclan

Rank: leader

Personality: Gruff, narcissistic, wants whats best for his clan and will do whatever it takes to get it. Often loses sight of whats right. Mixed morals. Believes in tough love. Doesn't say much.

Appearance: White pelt speckled with dark black. Has a black right foot and left ear. Blue eyes that blend in, you won't notice they're blue if you aren't paying attention. Bulky, large paws and dangerously long claws. Has a scar across his neck, from a badger, they say. Some believe it was Starclan taking back one of his lives because he didn't deserve it.

Strengths: A skilled fighter and planner. Can catch rabbits easily. Skilled hunter. Determined. Wants to be the best leader that has ever led his clan, and will do anything to reach that goal.

Weaknesses: Narcissistic, stubborn, sometimes blind to the truth and whats right. Can't swim. Isnt stealthy, his larger build and clumsy paws make sure of it.

Background: He was originally named Speckledkit by his mother, Owlhollow, with intentions of being named after the great leader Speckledstar whos warrior name was Speckledlight. His bloodline is a direct descendant of this noble leader. But, at his warrior ceremony, Owlhollow spoke to the previous leader, Swallowstar, to ask him to give him an appropriate name. Light was not appropriate, no matter how much he wanted it, because his mother knew he held too much darkness in his heart. So he was named accordingly, Speckledshadow. His pelt was speckled with darkness. Speckledshadow was crushed but accepted it with a broken heart. He was furious when he found out his own mother convinced Swallowstar to give him that name. His mother was found dead the next day. They say a snake had gotten into her nest. Some blame him for her death, but he loved his mother, so others with lighter hearts say he could never have killed her. Speckledshadow proved himself again and again to Swallowstar, so confident on his choice, Speckledshadow was chosen as duptey, and later after the old leader's humbled death, leader. They said one of his lives was given by the great Speackledstar himself. During a badger attack on his camp, where he risked the lives of young kits while going through a head-strong plan with high risk all for his own pride (he wouldn't accept other thought thout-out ones), he lost one of his lives. Though no one saw him lose it. There's a rumor going around that StarClan took back one of his lives because of his decisions, the life of humility, given to him by Speckledstar. But it's just a rumour...eventhough after the battle he has shown resentment to being compared with the great Speckledstar.

Other: Possible ship

#2 This is the charrie I'd write with if I write something from Starclan

Name: The Great Speckledstar

Age (doesn't have to be in moons): Very old. A few generations ago, he was leader. Not even the oldest cat in the forest has met him.

Clan: StarClan. Used to be Solarclan

Rank: Leader

Personality: Kind, wise, humble, belives in justice. Stronge morals. You brake his morals, he doesn't trust you or belive you are good any longer. Will do whats best for everyone. Not as great as they say he is.

Appearance: Black tom with white speckles. White ear and white paw. Amber eyes.

Background: Was leader of Solarclan. They say he's great. He wasn't any different from any other leader, except he killed the leader of Eclipseclan at the time, Badgerstar. The two clans had been at a rivalry since a recent tarritory scermish, and cats in Solarclan had been spreading tarrible rumors about the Eclipseclan leader. He was a rude and introverted leader, but he loved his clan and protected them till the end. The battle was a day in history, where a badger clan attacked Solarclan's camp. Eclipseclan, the closest base to their camp, was sent a note pleading for assistance, so they came to battle. The fight ended with minor casualties, but instead of being thanked, Badgerstar was challanged after a suspisious comment made Specklestar belive he had chased the badgers to them. Badgerstar was thick-skulled and didn't like Speckledstar's attitude. So the two fought, right there in spilled blood. Fufilling a prophocy of StarClan: The night of no moon, a rivalry will comence, peace will be made when badger's blood is spilt in wet grass. Of course Badgerstar was killed. The two clans ended their rivalry. Speckledstar, humble towards Eclipseclan after he killed their leader and even offering them the tarritory because he felt bad about listening to the rumors and resenting the noble leader, later died from infection in his wounds. He went down as a humble leader, looked up to by all the clans, and to this day Solarclan is allies with Eclipseclan.

Other: When writing with both cats, I'll write as either Speckledshadow or Speckledlight, or Speckledstar or the Great Speckledstar and thats what the two cats will call one another.

'Kay I'm bored with nothing better to do so...

Silentkit~

Skitter skitter plop! A lizard runs away from me and jumps off of the rock it was sunbathing on and lands on a bed of moss.

"Aww." I look longingly after the lizard.

"Silenkit!" My fuzzy head pokes up out of the patch of ferns. Moonface rolls her eyes and pads over. She picks me up by my scruff and carries me back to the nursery. I wriggle out from her grasp and sigh as she licks me clean of fern leaves. Sit quietly, mainly because it feels good. Moonface finishes cleaning me off. I bolt out of the nursery, my tail straight up in the air like the kit that I am. Moonface graons but kakes no move to catch me. I find Downypaw coming back with Goldendawn. Goldendawn has a squirrel in her mouth, and Downypaw has a vole. I wait for them to put their kills down.

"Do you think I am ready to be an apprentice like you?"

"Well, judging by the fact that we're only a few days apart in age, yes." Downypaw replies, having only to look down the slightest bit to look me in the eyes. Wasppaw stalks up and shoots me a wicked look.

"Pssh. Let's be real. Silentkit is nowhere near mature enough to be an apprentice, still less a warrior." My ears flop and I look down at the ground.

"Yeah I guess you're-" I begin, but Ravenheart, Wasppaw's mentor, appears behind me and cuts me off.

"I could say the same for you, Wasppaw, for that remark." She growls. Wasppaw digs her claws into the ground.

"I did kill a rabbit for the elders earlier today..." I said quietly. Ravenheart, Goldendawn, and Downypaw are impressed, but Wasppaw chuffs.

"Yeah right." Oh, now I'm just angry.

"Yes I did! Go ask the elders!"

"And just how did you kill said rabbit?" Wasppaw thrusts her face into mine.

"Truth be told, I dropped out of a tree onto its back." I reply smoothly. Downypaw's face shows comtemplation, then he bobbs his head in resolution. Wasppaw storms away. Ravenheart sighs and follows after her. THAT'S going to be quite a talk. I think, seeing the looks on both Wasppaw's and Ravenheart's faces. Downypaw grunts and I look back at him.

"What?"

"I think you're ready to be a warrior, if I judge by the way you handled that situation." He says, a hint of pride in his silky voice. Goldendawn shrugs.

"As for me, I'm going to go ask the elders about that rabbit. Not because I doubt you," She adds hastily when she sees the hurt look on my face. "But because they are elders and are not the best at cleaning themselves up." We all laugh.

~~

I was looking back through the comments on this thread to see who's mentoring who and stuff and I saw my charrie Swiftpaw and was like 'Oh hey look I have another cat.' I had totally forgotten about her! XD But yeah, she's in Solarclan. She's an NPC though. I want to focus on Silentkit. Is that cool with everyone?

ATTENTION PEOPLE. I AM NOW PROCEEDING TO CONFIRM THE APPRENTICES AND MENTORS.

If you do not want your cat to mentor anyone, please say so. Otherwise you will be stuck with them for the rest of this RP, because it is much to confusing for a last minuet switch.

All righty-o! Here it goes!

Solar clan:

Willowpaw - Dewstone

Lunar clan:

Wasppaw - Ravenheart

Charredpaw - Umberfur

Dawnpaw - Breezestar

Glowpaw - Crowflight

Eclipse clan:

Lynxpaw - Polarfoot

^Seapelt^

The air hung heavy, and the sky was a deep grey, brooding storm clouds blotting out any sun that tried to creep through the skreen of black. A ship lay on the ocean floor, the pristine water reflecting the wreck's tattered flag. It had once a large and beauitiful crafted vessil, the strongest in all the kings fleet. But one knows how a storm can change.

Dark waves crashed around a small, scragly looking creature. The ocean tugging mercilesly at its bedragled fur as the kitten struggled to keep its eyes above the water, but it was no use. The waters were much to strong, and it dashed the kitten onto the rocks, knocking it unconscious. But by the mercy of the great sea, the kitten was gently washed onto land.

~~~
"Burntpaw?"
Seapelt poked his head into the apprentices leafy den. He scanned for any sign of Burntpaw's tortishell fur, but Lunxpaw was the only one in the den.
"Oy, Lynxpaw. Have you seen Burntpaw? Ive been looking for her for twenty minutes now."
Lynxpaw shook his head. "No, sir! I only saw her go out of the den. No idea where she is now. She late for training again?"
Seapelt gave a short sigh. "Eye. Third time this week. But! No matter. She'll turn up somewhere im sure."
He strode out to the middle of the clearing, scaning camp for his waward apprentice. Yet he only saw the rest of the cats. Scarletstar was heading toward the Elder's den, Pecanfur's kits tumbling over each other like a bunch of bull frogs, a patrol entering the back into camp with Foxtail, Fireflypaw and Burntpaw leading.
So that's where the kid was
"Burntpaw! Did I tell you, you could be in the patrol? Ive been searching for you! We need to be sharpening our skills."
"Woah there buddy," Foxtail replied with a chuckle, "I let her come along. Thought you wouldnt mind! Guess I was wrong Mr Grouch." He grinned.
"What he said," added Burntpaw. Seapelt couldnt help but laugh. Boy,  he was turning into a grouch!
"Come, my young apprentice," He said chuckling and winked, "Time to work on your stealth attack... And your manners."
Sorry this was so short. I tend to write shorter than most lol
Mnah that's fine, TuxedoKitten. Hey, can I nickname you TUX instead just because it's a lot easier to write and I think it sounds cool?
OKAY anyways.
I just realised that having THREE SEPERATE CLANS will essentially make three parallel stories. However, that's hard if you want everything to come together in one complete story, which is not-really essential for a finished plot, but still. Also, considering how many cats there are that are being Charried - let's ee, actually. So for the RP'ed cats there iare about.... ten, maybe? At the least. So that's TEN people's Charries that have to be included in the verall storyline. And NO I am NOT telling anyone to withdraw or anything like that, I'm simply pointing the fact out, and also saying that maybe if we keep the stories parallel, and not intersecting, then we can have three seperate endings, right? Just wondering wether anyone wanted to do that instead of the usual. However, if not that's fine.
(June 14, 2018 - 3:31 pm)
I'm counting on the little plots to influence the bigger plot and tie all the clans together. And yes, the prophecy I have going on is about all of the clans and will intersect with them all in different ways, but all the same in the end. I guess we'll just see where this story takes us then, shall we?
@Rouge
Hey girl! I posted a few reminders about the Warriors clan cat life for you. There's stuff about ceremonies and kit/apprentice life! Also, if you could stick to the personalities of other people's cats that would be great!
@Tux
OMAGOSH I just had the best idea! What if Seapelt/Hatch had ACCENTS? Do cats even have accents....? I think they do. Also who are the NPCs you added to the Clans, and can you give quick descriptions of them if you haven't already? Thanks, girl!
@Everyone else
I guess we've officially started! If anyone has any problems with the Alliances (Clan thingy) speak now or forever hold your peace!
WAIT HOLD THE PHONES!!!!!!!
Before we start we need these cats! So I’ve taken it to myself to upgrade your rankings! Wow! Swallowdance is now Lunarclan’s med cat. Polarfoot is now deputy! Unless you want Foxtail to be. Or a different warrior completely.
Also here are a few reminders about the warrior code and clan life!
1. Kits cannot leave the camp and don’t posses the skills or training to hunt. Not yet at least. They are usually confined to the nursery ALTHOUGH curious kits can go a long way.
2. No mates outside of your clan. This rule is often broken.
3. Praise to StarClan for each meal. EVERY CAT EXCEPT FOR HATCH AND POSSIBLY SEAPELT must BELIEVE in Starclan. StarClan makes the prey run and the leaves turn, the cats blame everything on StarClan...or the other place.
4. Leader or deputy organizes patrols. Med cats cannot have mates or kits. Leader or deputy are in charge of everything inside the camp, with the exceptions of older warriors taking over if told to do so.
5. Apprentices must feed the elders before themselves. They are also in charge of ridding ticks and cleaning moss and such.
6. Gatherings happen every full moon. This is a time of peace. No exceptions.
7. Med cats and sometimes leaders receive messages from StarClan. Keep this in mind.
8. Ceremonies usually go- Every cat who is old enough to catch their own prey are to join me beneath the Highrock! (Or whatever the meeting place in the middle of camp may be) And then for kits they list kits new name and mentor and they touch muzzles. For warrior cerimonies they list all the reasons why they chose the prefex. Clans chant their new names after th ceremony is over and warriors sit vigil for a night.
9. Oh! And I almost forgot. The skills of each clan! Solarclan- are small, agile, usually with pelts that absorb sunlight as in cool them down in summer and keep them warm against harsh winds in leaf bare. Can run fast and bury themselves in sand to surprise prey or cats. Camp is in a gordge, surrounded by shear cliffs on all sides but the passage through the gorge and smaller escape routes for floods. Fighting tequinces include sly movements and surprise attacks from below. Smells like sun-filled wind and dry grass.
Lumarclan- are medium size with sleek, waterproof fur and webbed paws. Can swim and can quickly catch fish from streams and rivers. Camp is on a dry islan soirounded on all sides by a river. Smaller stream that cuts through the middle with large stepping stones all around is used to train kits to swim. The largest stone is the leaders’ place with a cave behind it. Brambles souround the camp and make up dens shielding onlookers from view. Fighting tequinces include dragging into rivers to stun escaping by using the rivers, brute strength battle tactics, strong jaws, and slippery movements. Smells like ferns and the moon on water.
Eclipseclan- are large cats with longer fur usually dark colored. Can hide in shadows and are quiet stalkers. Drop from trees to surprise prey or catch them with the downwind tactic. Camp is in the middle of a drop in the land surrounded by thick trees and undergrowth. Logs, braken and ivy make up nests and a large stump serves as the leaders place. Fighting tequnices include stalking quietly from the undergrowth and shadows for a surprise attack, leaping down from the trees, brute strength, and strong claws. Smells like pine and undergrowth that has never seen the sun or moon.
Welp I officially have a device other than a phone to write with (I may have stolen my computer by accident...) so here goes nothing!
~Halfsoul
We padded slowly through a forest of starry leaves, the sun shining bright overhead, though strangely the forest was still dark...like a night with half a moon. No prey stirred, which was strange. We could smell no sent of anything, except the faint trace of blood.
We noticed the trees thinning out ahead. Curious, we quickened our pace in this unfamiliar forest of soft leaves and dark shadows. As the trees broke, we saw a valley. A small dip was in the middle, with two stones and a pool or river. It seemed familiar, but from what, we couldn't tell.
In the shadows, we saw eyes. Seemingly thousands of eyes, glimmering green as each reflected the light of the sun, the only thing in the valley that it touched.
We blinked. The peaceful view was suddenly replaced with a battle scene. Shaded pelts barely caught the light as they twisted and fought, or lay on the ground, unmoving, seemingly just another rock in the valley. Imidatly both spirits tried to distinguish individual warriors. But the only color accompanying the flashing green of eyes was the bright scarlet red of blood, that shimmered in the strange light, which we suddenly realized, was fading away, and with it, the color of green. But the scarlet color stayed.
With horror, we realized that the shadows of the sky were slowly swallowing the sun whole. Like the darkness around the stars had stolen the blue of the sky and then the light of the sun. But through the darkness, we could still see SilverPelt.
The cats were now merely shadows in the valley, flickering like the cinders of a fire. Our heart was rapidly quickening. A figure emerged from the fighting. His pelt did not blend into the shadows-it was brown-with tabby markings. And his eyes, his eyes shown yellow and caught a light we could not see. His paws vanished into the darkness, with lights like stars sparkling towards the ends. We knew instantly it was the leader known as Badgerstar, who had died a noble death at the paws of Solarclan. As he spoke, his voice seemed to echo, like all the voices of StarClan combined into one.
"The shadows are rising. The sun has a chance of going out forever, and only the darkness can bring it back to light. The Solar Eclipse is about to begin." He paused slightly. "You have been warned."
And then he vanished into the shadows.
The yowls of the battle filled our ears as the darkness slowly ate away at our sight, freezing our mussels, as our heart beat faster and faster...
Halfsoul woke with a start in her nest of ferns and pine needles. They blinked their mismatch eyes and looked up to the opening of their bramble den. Standing below the highrock, the rays of the sun blanketing his pelt in crimson, was Scarletstar. Halfsoul couldn't help but wonder about the prophecy. Was he the shadows? Would he cause the upcoming battle of blood? But what would he have to do with a solar eclipse?
I'm really enjoying your writing style, Claaws. The way you wrote that was actually extremely.... professional. It's like something you'd actually read in a book! It felt like you took time to polish the words and didn't rush things. OKAY I'm going to post now! I've actually... uh.... sort-of-not-really thought of something!
Also..... should I write in third person, which is my favourate way of writing, or in first person, like in usual RPs?
Thornpaw~
He knew this was a dream. It had a dreamlike quality. He walked in a large forest, but it felt like he floated. Light pooled and flowed in between the trees. Lakes of darkness swirled at the tree trunks. The sky was a cold blue, like at midday, and the sun shone brightly in it. But no light came to the forest. It was dark. Complete silence surrounded Thornpaw. Not a leaf stirred. No prey scampered through the undergrowth.
It was silent.
But - the trees blurred around him - and he was in a clearing, with a pool reflecting not the light sky above it, but stars. Light shimmered off of eyes. It was so dark.... he couldn't see himself. He just could observe others, not himself. A cat aproached the valley. For the first time, Thornpaw scented the smell of blood. Hot stickiness spread to his paws. He looked down - bloody claws, light glinting sickly off of them. But his gaze was wrenched from them when suddenly the scene changed. He was fighting, fighting against a large, strong cat, it flung itself against him - he fought back. Blood welled between his claws as he ripped through the other's fur. Through the shrieks of other cats, he heard someone saying something - Something about shadows. He bit the cat's neck, tasting blood. It shook him off, he hit the ground hard, the dewy grass raking his pelt like thorns. The cat stood over him, eyes glinting.
There was something familiar about the glint of its eyes. Gorsejump. His mentor.Thornpaw rolled to the side, Gorsejump's claws raking the ground where he had been.Thornpaw recognized other mentors and warrior fighting in the clearing. Each one fought only it's closest friends and family.
Mentor against apprentice, kit against queen, warrior against warrior. Divided into countless factions.
He had hesitated for too long - Gorsejump slammed into him, knocking Thornpaw to the ground.
He looked past Gorsejump, raising his paw in a killing blow, to the dark, dark sky. Darkness seeped through the sky, eating the sun, and only a few lights glimmered through - the Silverpelt. He looked back to Gorsejump. He was flickering, dark and red like a fire.
All the cats were flickering - all but the strange one. It was staring at another - it was... a strong tabby with black markings, was it..? Badgerstar..? The stranger cat was... almost split. It was... two cats' forms, wavering side by side, but connected. One was a dark grey tabby with light amber eyes, the other was almost the opposite, tortishell with dark blue eyes. It's face was white. The other fighting cats were now shadows, wavering as if they were just smoke from a fire. Thornpaw tried to get up - but he was tied down to the ground. He struggled and turned his head. He was thorns, sprawling down into the ground, rooted in his position. The tips of the throns were bloody.
He screamed. (Because what would you do in that situation?)
And woke up.
~~~~~~~

Sorry for the cheesy ending, but WHAT THE HYE WHY NOT

As you can tell, I'm super tired, have a headache and really want to go to bed. HAHA SO LET'S GO ONTO THE COMPUTER BECAUSE THAT SOLVES ALL PROBLEMS! *Giggles creepily*

Lol thanks Chinchilla. It was actually like midnight when I wrote that and I kept re-writing it because I kept getting all my words confused. XP

Also, is Thornpaw going to be the med.cat apprentice? Because-um-usually only med.cats and leaders (sometimes) get prophecies. Halfsoul's dream was intended to be a dream from StarClan telling them the prophecy of this RP! (wow Im super tired right now. Been pretending like I don't have jet lag but NOT WORKING clearly) And so like, if the other's clans got that dream it would be from a cat that was in their clan...like uh Swallowstar or Speckledstar for SolarClan, and some random noble leader someone can make up for LunarClan. But I really like your post! Like the way you put him in their dream too, as part of the fighting cats, that was really creative. It's just not how StarClan prophecies usually go. SORRY I FEEL LIKE SUCH A BUBBLE POPPER. Omagosh now I feel homesick. *cries*

ANYWAY lol Tux, that's why I said they should have accents because you posted like they had accents, so sleep-deprived me was like I HAVE THIS VERY ORIGINAL IDEA THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE ACCENTS! not really keeping in mind that I got that idea from the accents you already posted. ;p

Welp, time to post! Who shall I post as....uh...oh! I know!

~Burntpaw

The grass felt crisp underpaw as I made my way through the forest with the dawn patrol. It wasn't much, just me, my sister, and her mentor. The borders were usually stale on both sides, there has been quiet peace between all three clans for quite awhile. As long as she could remember, actually.

The dawn sun was now just brushing its tails of light through the forest as they headed back to camp. I bounded through the brambles surrounding camp first, inhaling the scents of green leaf. "Burntpaw!" The apprentice whipped her head to face her narrowed-eyed mentor, his russet fur gleaming in the dawn light. He said something else, but Burntpaw was following a stray feather twirling in the wind and forgat he was there.

When Foxtail, her sister's mentor, spoke right next to her, she jumped slightly. She stared blankly at the stale fresh-kill pile and noted to herself that she should probably go hunting. But wait! She sucks at hunting. Why was hunting so hard anyway? Why couldn't you just run up and grab the bird then be done with it? Whats it with stalking and hiding in trees...The two mentors were looking at her expectantly. What were they saying? She thought she heard something about Foxtail arguing in her favor...he had taken her on the dawn patrol, right? Was that why Seapelt was mad? "What he said." She meowed quickly before looking down at her paws.

Her mentor let out a mrrow of laughter. "Come now..." He meowed something else, but a muscular brown pelt had caught the young apprentices eye.

Burntpaw padded away in the opposite direction of her mentor, who she heard sigh hopelessly. She bounded up to the slightly older apprentice and casually bushed her pelt against his. "Oh hey Lynxpaw! Do you want to go training with me and Seapelt and probably your mentor too? We're going to work on hunting today."

Lynxpaw opened his mouth to respond but his eyes flicked back at something behind her. "Burntpaw!" Ugg not Seapelt again. Mouse-brained mentor getting in the way of her and-"Did I say we were going to work on your hunting skills? Well...now that you mention it you do need to work on your hunting skills-BURNTPAW WHY CANT YOU SIT STILL AND LISTEN FOR ONE SECOND?! Sea-snakes this kits gonna be the death of me..."

Burntpaw was already halfway across the clearing and bearly a thing her mentor said passed through the fuzz in her ears. All she heard was that she did need to work on her hunting skills, and that was a go for her! She was approaching Polarfoot, who was casually eating a stale mouse at the edge of the highrock. "Seapelt's gonna help me with hunting skills and he wants to know if you and Lynxpaw want to come with?" She blurted quickly.

The white tom cat gave her a look, glanced over at Lynxpaw and Seapelt, at the small fresh-kill pile, then back at her. "Well the stock's running low and the hunting patrol just set out- the elders will appreciate some warm prey...sounds like a go to me."

And thats all I have in me for now. Its again like midnight. So sorry if this is scatterbrained...

Oh gosh, Claaws!

I totally forgot about that rule!

BLURGH

Okay, so how about Gorsebush got that dream? (Wait, is it Gorsebush or.... something else...? The names ar so confusing....) BLURGH Actually, I originally thought of Thornpaw as wanting to be a Medicine cat apprentice.... hmmm...

Should we move his mentor to, uh the Med. cat for Solarclan?

Or just make it the Medicine cat's dream?

(Don't worry, you didn't pop my bubble, I literally only just remembered about prophecies BLURGHEDDBLURGHBLURGH)

What was that?

Me saying BLURGH several times.

No Claaws, that wasn't scatterbrained! Wow, what a... distracted apprentice.

MMMM because why not!

Thornpaw~

He woke up quietly.

It was dawn already - he had overslept. He twitched his tail in irritation. Why hadn't anyone woken him?

Honestly...

He heard a movement at the entrance of the den. He pushed himself up to a sitting position. Gorsejump's head popped into view. The rest of him was hidden by the rock walls of the den. "Come out." he growled gently. Thornpaw nodded and padded out into the sunlight, shaking dust from his pelt. Gorsejump was sitting quietly in the sunlight, his eyes calmly surveying Thornpaw. "I let you oversleep because you'll need the rest. We're going on evening patrol, after some intensive training."

He nodded. Gorsejump was a hard mentor, but he made up for that by often letting Thornpaw recuperate from the day before. However, he often made Thornpaw feel nervous.

Like right now. Could he detect a note of disapproval in Gorsejumps' eyes as he surveyed Thornpaw? Was he not supposed to sleep in...? He shuffled his paws in the sand, looking down. "Come on." Gorsejump turned and padded to the entrance to the gorge, and flicked his ear impatiently at Thornpaw. He trotted to keep up with his old mentor. The rocky walls closed in, turning the gorge into a small, almost tunnel-like passageway. Thornpaw's ears were flat against his head. He always imagined that the walls were going to crush him. He sped up, and almost bumped into Gorsejump (GORSEBUSH XD).  Finally it opened up into the forest. The ground sloped up steeply, and they were now on level land. Thornpaw glanced behind him for a moment, seeing to gorge spread out below him like a five-sided leaf. There was the smaller exit to the far right of the gorge in case of floods, and there was the large rock in the middle of the gorge.

He turned back and almost ran into Gorsejump.

"Aren't you going to ask why we aren't going to the usual training area?" Gorsejump stared at Thornpaw reproachfully. "Or were you just going to follow me mindlessly?" Thrnpaw looked at his paws, embarrassed. His mentor snorted. "Well?"

"Why... why aren't we.... going to....." Thornpaw trailed off. He could feel Goresjump staring at him. "AreWeGoingToAnotherTrainingAreaForMoreExtensiveTrainingGorsejump?" He said quickly. He peeked up at his mentor. Gorsejump nodded, still looking unsatisfied. "Yes. Hurry up." They walked into the forest. It was noticably cooler here, with the sun coming down greenish tinted. One of the reasons that Thornpaw had been put with Gorsejump was that Gorsejump was a exceptional fighter, and that was the one thing that Thornpaw was not skilled at. It was a sensible thing to do when considering what the apprentice would gain from the mentor. Not quite as sensible when one considered their personalities.

They didn't clash so much as one dominated the other.

Okay! PLEASE EVERYONE ELSE FROM SOLARCLAN PLEASE POST!! ALSO since Gorsejump is an NPC, someone could play as him if they wanted to!
