Mythical City Solo

Mythical City Solo Write!

So, I was digging for an old thread, and I found a City RP, and I thought it would be intresting to change it to a solo write. You know my rules.

1. BE KIND. I am big on that.

2. Only one charrie. Please.

3. Once I say spots are closed, SPOTS ARE CLOSED. I'm sorry if you didn't get a spot, but no exceptions.

4. I will post once or twice a week. Please be patient.

Welcome to the city of Medallion (Diamond + Emerald + Gold, something I made up). The monarchy, King Ernest and Queen Elisabeth, have complete control. Anyone who protests angainst them is dragged away, kicking and shrieking, and never heard of again. Queen Elisabeth , fond of education, has issued that anyone under 12 and over 5 must go to a school house located near castle. Everyone else until they reach the age of 60 must work, thanks to Kinh Ernest. You can work in a shop of your choice, a library, or be a schoolteacher. There are some dark secrets hidden in the city of Medallion. Curfew is very strict. If anyone is found, you are taken to the king and queen. They judge if you are guilty or innocent. If guilty, you are dragged away. Admins, please note that this may get a little harsh or violent. You are welcome to edit or crop anything that seems inappropriate.

Name: Brigita Aster

Age (12 to 17, please): 12

Gender: Female

Apperance: Her hair is a mess of thick strawberry-blond curls, usually pulled back in a halfhearted attempt at a braid. Her eyes are wide and bright green, with long lashes. Her skin is pale. Their conditions were shabby at best, but last week, Brigita's oldest brother was dragged away. She now spends some time working as a maid for a wealthy family, when she isn't teaching. Brigita despises teaching, because the students constantly make fun of her and refuse to learn.

Other: You can change the backstory if it's too depressing, XD

Name: Ezmeralda Gypsens

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Freckles, straight, soft, mousy brown hair that she wears in a braid down her back. Round cheeks, quite short for her age, hazel eyes and dimples, usually wears a long, blue pinafore dress and carries around a ruler for discipline

Occupation: Schoolteacher at the schoolhouse near the castle

Backstory: She has been an orphan for as long as she can remember. She assumes that the rest of her family were killed by the royalty but doesn't think about it much. She has a passion for education and has loved it ever since she started, at 5 years old. She's really smart and perceptive. After she graduated from school, she wanted to stay at school, so she became a schoolteacher. At first, her students didn't respect her because of how small she looked, but she is very good at gaining respect and is not afraid to punish her students when they do something wrong (with her ruler). Now that she's 17, the students respect her more, and it's much easier. She's an amazing teacher and has never found a student she's unable to teach yet.

Other: She has no family, and the other adults in the workforce think she's "peculiar". She loves working with children, and they adore her back (even though she punishes stuents with her ruler, she only does it when they deserve it--she's very fair).

Backstory: Didn't have the grades to be anything particularly ambitious. Her mother and father always supported her though. They told her that she should always go where her heart took her and follw her passion.

Currently procrastinating on my own solo write...

And hw...

whoops...

@Darkking, he can be the roommate if you want.

Name: Jay Hawker (nicknamed Jay-hawk)

Age (12 to 17, please): 17

Gender: M (possibly gay?)

Appearance: About 5'6, shorter thicker build, milky brown skin, short shaggy black-brown hair that sort of fans up above his forehead. Kind amber eyes. Goofy smile.

Occupation (shopkeeper, librarian, schoolteacher): Can he be a professional futbol player? Or one of the kids on the team of the sport that everyone watches. If not, he's a hawker, sells random goods on the streets to passersby. Like, kid's toys, food, clothing items, water, and other necessities. He works for various shops doing this, like an advertiser almost.

Backstory: Never knew his mom, his dad trained him in his sport. His dad was a kind, reasonable man who worked as a representative of the court (or a lawyer) when they still had it. He spoke up for those who couldn't. He was an organizer of the protests, but was found out and taken away. Jay wants to follow in his shoes, although he doesn't know how. Jay was 12 when his father was taken. When his father was away he was looked after by an old woman who's only purpose was to drill the rules into Jay's head, causing him to be confused and lost and defensive and self-doubtful. He allowed his roommate to stay with his because he too had lost everything, and he almost reminded Jay of himself. Also, it was a kind act, something his father would smile down on.

Other: PERSONALITY!: Jay is a kind, sweet young boy who follows the rules, and doesn't know how to break them. Or rather, he's afraid to. He's afraid to step out of line and ruin everything he had planned, to overthrow the horrid system and avenge his father. Or be like his father. Oh, how he wishes he was like his father, a free adventerous soul who would do anything for anyone no questions asked. But Jay doesn't know how. No one ever taught him how to care for others, or for his life, or for the world. He was just taught the rules, and nothing more. Sometimes this causes him to be defensive, and he's taken up sarcasm as a way to cover his low self-esteem. (his character development could include him realizing that it's ok to not be exactly like his father, or him finally breaking a rule and feeling very relived about it)
