Haley's Wonderful RRR

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Haley's Wonderful RRR

Haley's Wonderful RRR of Doom!

Some background as to how this came about: a) I spend three hours watching Invader ZIM. b) I go to see Public Enemies and get a massive sugar/caffeine high from all the Air Heads and Mountain Dew I consume. c) I get back at 11:21 precisely. d) Instead of going to be like any reasonable person, I immediately get back online. e) Being bored with nothing better to do, I make this post while simultaneously watching Invader ZIM.

And now we're up to date!

Note: Do not expect continuity from any of my contributions. I fully intend for this to be a crack story.

ONWARDS!

*******

The crowd exploded into cheers. Nick, firmly ensconced in a doorway nearby, was fairly certain that one of her ears had been permanently damaged. Possibly both of them.

Nick sighed loudly, not that anyone heard. They were too busy cheering and yelling their support for... Nick wasn't sure what they were screaming for. She couldn't quite see the stage that was the source of all the excitement. Not that she cared.

Nick, fifteen-year-old honor student at Callaway High School, star nordic skier, and closet pyromaniac, was only there for the explosions.

Nuh-uh, this an RRR. Someone else has to decide.

Nck sighed. It was nice, just standing in the corner listening to the explosions- even if she couldn't exactly *see* them- but checking her watch, it was getting late. Miranda would throw a fit if she wasn't back home. Loath to leave but knowing that Miranda in a bad mood could get slightly, well, dangerous, she slipped quietly away from the hubbub.

((inspired by the fact that I have to go get ready for bed, it know being almost ten o'clock, thus explaining the shortness of this post.))
