Story Graveyard

Welcome the story graveyard where we talk about all those tales unfinished and words left unsaid. Projects that abandoned for one reason or another.

For example, for a very long time, I was working on a story that went through several title changes, but we'll just call it Multiverse. This story was an overcomplicated mess of a pop-culture interdimensional romp. It was about a teenage dude who found an interdimensional ship with his best friend and they accidentally set off a course of events that eventually results in death and war and coming of age and blah blah blah. I had some neat characters and a couple of funny bits, but I was 12/13 and trying to write a story on the scale of the freaking MCU. Obviously, that wasn't going to work out. I did reboot it into a different story with some similar aspects that also remains unnamed. That one is better, but still not good yet.

So yeah, feel free to share those stories that didn't quite get their ending.

I’m on a mobile device, so I’m not sure how this will turn out, but anywa...

i have abandoned too many stories. It’s kind of depressing. I have a whole google drive of a million stories that will never ever be anything more than a few lonely paragraphs, drifting around unnoticed. I think the most prominent abandoned story is actually the first story I ever wrote. It was called where two worlds meet and then the oldest barrier. The story was based on a dream I had where I had wings and I had to teleport from one world to the other and fight this incredible villain who was basically unbeatable. It was really detailed actually. The story itself only lasted until chapter 5, and then I got overwhelmed and didn’t ever finish writing it down. I think I was 8. Ah, the good old days, when everything I wrote was awful...

Well, there’s my dead story. I’ve considered coming back to it but I never make any real progress. There we go! Yay!

I once started to write this story, and I don't really like to think of it as dead since I might start again, but it was basically about this girl who could fly and got taken away to my world, Jith, by these two dragons . . . . . . . .

I have had a lot of unfinished rps, Most made by myself, The first one was Zekia, which was back when I was called Alex R. Then there was Tower of Renovamen. (Both verisons). Then there was Road to Eden and Asimar. Ones I took part in were The Zoo, Chatterbox City, 5 Empires, Lost Magic, Lily Flame, Medieval RP, Horror Hotel, DnD on the CB, Battle of Nevermore, The Deck of Cards....
Now that I think about it, they all died cause we couldn't figure out what to do next....strange...

Ah, there are so many things I could post on this thread that it's kind of sad. XD

So, I had this plot idea like two years ago for a dystopian/realistic fic/fantasy seires, and I had the first few books planned out and some vague ideas for later books. Then I realized that half of it made no sense and all of my charries were stereotypes. So, I've been making LOTS of changes to the plot and charries, but I still don't have an ending for the first book. Well, I do, but I don't know how I'm going to get to it. Also, I still have to re-name a couple charries. Yaay

(Also, "Breakfast Guy Maybe" GW YOU JUST GAVE YOURSELF AWAY AAAHH IT'S YOU)
