My library has a summer reading program!!!!!!!!! But we DO get to pick what books we read. This year, it was different. Instead of doing hours per week, we do how many books we read. and it can be a short, four page magazine thing. poeple can just read a bunch of Dr. Seuss books and be done with it. I like to read five three hundred and something page books a week. The other people, twenty something ten page books a week, with big font Who reads longer? Me. Who reads more books? Them. I read the most time, they read more books. I think that it should be how much time you put into reading, not how many books. because I like long books, and it takes a while to read long books. they read short books, and it doesn't take much time to read those. so who should they have called up there to get a special thing? Me. the person who tjhey did call up read 80 short books. I read 30 longish books. I read more. She read less. She got called up "cause she read the most books. I DIDN'T get called up because I rwead LONG books. And the library is in the mall, and I hate malls. i have to walk through a place with a bunch of strange people thast i don't know to get to the library. Why is the library in the mall. because they want to torture people-hating people like me? WHY is the library in the MALL? WHY do they do how many books not how much time? I like the old library better. The new one is all shiney, and smells like drying paint. the old one actually smells like a library is supposed to. it smells like books, paper, the has been leafed through so that they give off a book smell. And it smells a little cinnomenish. the new library smells just, ugh. I. Do. Not. LIke. The. New. Library. That. Is. In. The. Mall.
