Plot: 100 years in the future, there's no electricity, barely any food, and the virus wiped out humanity! ...almost. It's up to our OCs, who apparently survived due to Cricket Mag logic, to rebuild humanity!
Rules: 1) You can't make your OC start with someone. They have to find the other OCs. Except if they're sibilings.
2) You can't make your OCs have a huge amount of alive sibilings. Preferably one or two.
3) No overpowered OCs.
Character Sheets: I really don't care how you make them as long as you specify how they look, their age, personality, shipping and sibilings. (If you need help look at the character sheets on OC BOARDING SCHOOL RP)

Name: Kieran Velasquez
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Just a bit above average height, with messy brown hair, and guarded brown eyes with a touch of green. Dusty, tanned, olive skin. Kieran wears a faded green tshirt, a scuffed up navy blue jacket, and equally scruffy looking jeans and sneakers. Underneath, he's covered in scrapes and bruises. He's on the skinny side, but he isn't weak and knows how to take care of himself.
Personality: Quietly charismatic, and scrappy. He isn't always all that nice to people he doesn't know, but those who do get to know him know his kinder side, a side that is extremely loyal and protective, and though he would never openly say that he cares about someone, he tends to let it show in other ways, whether he means to or not. He can be agressive when he's defending others and will fight someone, which may come off as him having a bit of a temper, but for the most part he is calm and focused.
Siblings: He has an 11 year old brother named Luca, who he lives with and loves very deeply. The two of them often split up to scavenge for food and supplies. Over time, Kieran has taken in several kids that he's found wandering alone, and let them live with or near he and his brother, and being the oldest by a few years, he acts as the leader to their sort-of group. All of them go scavenging, but he takes responsibility for them and often stresses himself out trying to make sure they all have food and water, and medical supplies for anyone who gets hurt.
Fears: Anything happening to his brother or the kids he's come to take care of, even though he won't admit that he likes them to their faces. They all know it anyways.
Shipping: I think for now maybe not, though in the future he could be open to either boys or girls. I'd rather see how the story progresses so that if I do decide to ship him with someone, it happens organically.

I am really sorry this is going to sound ridiculous, but what's an RP?
I am new here, and I don't know what any of the abbreviations/acronyms/random terms mean.
It stands for role play, a type of cooperative story in which each participant writes from the point of view of one of the characters.

Just a couple of terms you'll see thrown aroud pretty regularly:
RP - roleplay, as the admin explained above.
CB - stands for the Chatterbox
Chatterboxers - us, the people who use the CB. sometimes known as CBers.
charrie sheet - character sheet, what people use to create their characters. the exact details can vary but usually contains information such as the character's name, gender, age, appearance, personality and so on.
Solo write - people create characters as they would for an RP, but instead of them roleplaying as their characters the creator of the solo write uses them to create a story
ski lodge - like a cross between roleplay and solo write, kind of. usually comes in the form of a brief introduction such as "you were sitting in your living room when a letter came down the fireplace. it says:" and then you create a character based off the information in the letter. I've never been part of one so my definiton is a little shaky.
SI - stands for secret identity. usually have a topic such as grammar SI or history SI, where you choose a name based on that topic and tr to guess each other's identities.
shipping - pairing two characters in a relationship, usually a romantic one
CAPTCHA - the code at the bottom of the submit screen, some people have CAPTCHA pets that speak in the code
AE - alternate ego. usually talks in bold or italic script, they usually represent a certain aspect of the CBer's personality and tend to annoy or commiserate with the CBer.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, if you have any other quetions just ask, no one will judge you for being new. :)

Appearance: Brown eyes, that seem shadowed, somehow. Shoulder length tangled red hair and shaggy bangs. Her standard getup is blue jeans and a gray t-shirt, usually with a lot of bobbypins to hold her bangs back
Personality: Logical and practical. She does not waste time crying, but starts immediately trying to survive. She is not a "people person" and her best friend is her sister. She's not afraid to make a statement, especially to stand up for someone. Although she is shy at first.
Shipping: No. Nada. Never, until she has to. (Although if someone asked her, she might say yes... depends on who the person is.)
Siiblings: One sister: Hazel Hill, age 10. absolutely the opposite of her sister.

Every inch of Nat was trembling, and not from the cold. It was because up on the ridge was what other kids had dubbed 'that guy who blew Freddie up last week'. She didn't know who Freddie was. But anyone who blew 'Freddie' up was bad news. So she crouched under some twisted metal to wait it out.
