Chatterbox: Inkwell

A new story idea.......So I was writing in my notebook with my red-inked pen where the ink glistens like blood until it dries, and an idea popped in my head so I quick wrote it down and it glistened beautifully *sigh*. Well that was about a month ago and the idea has gone through a multitude of refining, and I decided to put it on the CB. 

A world of magic and superstition.

One Queendom, Khimer-completely self-sufficient and untrusting of the other  governments on other continents. 

[excerpt from a Khimerian grade 2 history book:

Khimer Government

Four Queens, one from the Human, Bloodkin, Fae, and Mankin. The small matters of each species are taken care of by the respective Queen and her advisors, while other more difficult matters and interspecies problems are collaborated on.

The Queens are elected for life unless serious complaints are brought to light.]

I suppose I should describe the species?

[Humans are, well, humans. They can learn magic but other than that nothing differentiating from the humans of reality.

Fae are fairies, they are born with magic that requires refining for minimum 2 years, and are habitually dirty rotten tricksters.

Bloodkin are vampires. They have their own private sector and wear black-and-red capes or cloaks when outside of that sector. They are also born with magic, but not a lot. T

Mankin are Khimaer (from A River of Royal Blood). So they just have animal parts *shrugs*. Anything from snail antennae to dragon wings. But they aren't treated like Khimaer, everyone is equal here (at least to common knowledge).]

There are others like dragons and unicorns and phoenixes and pegasi and gryffons and alicorns. Mermaid are an uncommon form, a cross between Fae, Mankin, and Bloodkin. 

The Queens have five advisors each.

There's another group, the priests {made up of all aware species} which abstains from politics and sets their lives away for cultivating knowledge, practicing divination, and training people in magic. The Temple has sanctuary.

So, more later. I'm bad at explaining things.
