Would you like a buddy writing the same genre: If possible, yes, but I don't really care.
What genre are you writing: Currently I'm working on a realistic fiction novel, but I change it around a lot. My two main genres are realistic fiction and fantasy, but I do a bit of sci-fi and historical fiction, mostly in the middle grade and YA age ranges.
Note: The novel that I am working on is currently almost complete (the rough draft), but I also have multiple short stories and stuff like that.

Would you like a buddy in the same genre: Preferably yes. Actually, PygmyOwl seems like a good fit.
What genre are you writing: Well, I'm starting to form the plot of this realistic fiction story, which may or may not be short, about a boy whose older sister runs away for mysterious reasons, then he finds notes from her and follows them, where she's found this group of other teenagers/people who...might have powers? In that case it's not realistic fiction.

What genrea are you writing: right now I'm working on two books, one is urban fantasy and the other is epic fantasy. I haven't acutally started the second one, but I'm almost done with the preliminary planning.
