Braelyn stared over the rolling hills of the kingdom wordlessly, expressing utter disrespect towards her "care-taker", as her mother had recently taken to calling Bell, a middle aged woman that seemed to have an endless supply of complaints and lessons.
"Are you listening to me?" Bell muttered irratably by Braelyn's side.
"No," she replied honestly. Bell sighed and rolled her eyes. She had long since resigned to Braelyn's moods, and would stubbornly sit through them.
"You know that Bridleton will never marry off their prince to a spoiled, irratible young child, don't you?" Bell's voice was gentler than usual, wary of upsetting her further.
"I'm aware of that," her voice was coarse and laced with supressed tears, "That is why I could care less what you're yammering about, seeing as I don't want to be married of to some 'Arian de Montage'," her voice dripped sarcasm and mock awe.
"Besides, he's probably some dolt that hasn't even found his Song yet," Braelyn's teeth dug stubbornly into her lip, and tears pricked the backs of her eyes, "And I've never even met him!" her voice cracked, and she collapsed into a pitiful heap next to Bell's feet, ashamed that a Princess should cry.

I'm sorry, that's not very good, but I wanted to see what everyone else would add to it.
PS: In my next entries, I might start in first person, but I wanted to establish all the characters first :D

A roleplay is where everyone has a different character that they write as. For instance, Jen is Jara, Koffee is Braelyn, I'm Arian, etc. You may notice that some people put the characer's name in double //slashes// before writing the post in their POV (point of view).
On the other hand, an RRR (Round Robin 'Riting) is where you can post from any POV. Sometimes there's only one POV people write as, but oftentimes we do POVs of the hero, villain, supporting characters, etc. alternately. However, no one has any "assigned" character in an RRR--- for instance, if this were an RRR, then, say, I could post as Jara and Koffee could post as Arian, or whatever, because, again, nothing is "assigned" and just because you create a character doesn't mean you're the only one writing en.

Braelyn was overwhelmed with emotions she didn't recognize. She was a princess and had gotten everything she had ever wanted until now. So why should this peasant have what she could not? And yet, because she thought she loved Arian, she could not hurt him. So she shouted Jenette's name and she spun around, dropping the knife like it was white hot with an expression like a child caught misbehaving.
"You!" Jenette breathed, startled. She glanced down at the dagger, ashamed.
"What were you doing?" Braelyn inquired softly.
"I thought, well I thought..."
"Well don't think that. Allow me to escort you back to the palace."
And Braelyn took the serving girl's clammy hand. Overcome with nostalia, Jenette remebered the last time she had held someone's hand...
No. She wouldn't allow herself to think like that. Those days, beautiful and fleeting and the best time of her life, were over now.
Wow, that was awful. @Koffee; It's up to you to decide whether or not Arian and Jenette will be reunited. I wouldn't care either way.

I'm here, too, but Bell doesn't seem to have much of a role in this so she's taking a rest. Probably going to shout at the cook about dinner or something;)

REVIVE! sorry Koffee, I meant to make the decision up to you, but i can't take it any longer. this thread has now been dead-like for almost a month.

Jenette shivered violently, her hand still clutching the princess's. Braelyn really is beautiful, she thought, why would Arain ever choose me over someone like her? But Braelyn showed no unkindness as she led the serving girl through the darkness and into the place she was nursing Arain.
"Jenette?" shouted Arain in disbelief. he ran to her and swept her in his arms. "I'm so glad your okay!"
Jenette frantically pulled away and stared at him.
"Are you a ghost?" she whispered, frightened.
"no, Jenette."
"Am I dead after all?" she asked, looking at Braelyn, who shook her head.
"But you might as well be. he's a murder, Jenette." she snapped.
and then Braelyn stormed out. She didn't know why she'd said those awful things. Jealousy, perhaps? looking back at the sillhouettes of Jennette and Arian, now just one shadow, she knew somewhere inside she had done the right thing. But if she didn't break them up, how would they get back the country?
Jenette wondered the same thing as she pulled out of Arain's embrace, trying to figure out how she would tell the person she cared about most goodbye.
