Part 2 of

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Part 2 of

Part 2 of Whatever you do,...

Well, you all made me have to write everything back into order!

STORY BEGINS

A long time ago, there was a thread. It was located in the Valley of Alone. No one ventured near it. No one noticed the thread. It was not commented on. If someone did comment on-- which they most certainly didn't--something bad would happen. Luckily, no one did. No one commented on this one either. They were very uneventful. A group of CBers saw the thread. They were Red Starlight, Raven, Periwinkle, Scibbler, Tealeaf, Piano man, and Neverseen. Luckily, they passed by and did nothing.

STORY ENDS

Theere we go! No one to ruin the story or comment! Ahhhh!

(Write how you mess this up. I am now using bold to indicate that this is not the other person. Write your adventures of ruining this thread. No one else can join, unless someone leaves. If someone leaves this game, someone else can join. Have fun!)

~Neverseen

BUT. But...what a powerful word. It can mean so many things. Good news? Bad news? No News? Oh, this is something though. Something big. Something that means I, Neverseen, turned around and headed back to the thread. I knew I wasn't supposed to. I knew I should stay away from the large red sign that was posted in front of the thread that read "NO COMMENTS ALLOWED", yet I turned around anyway. Something was off about that thread. I wasn't sure what, but I needed to find out what it was. So, as I faced the forbidden thread, I took out my stylus. With it, I wrote one simple word.

Hello

(This is right, correct?)

(That is correct! Now watch the hilarious attemps to reverse it! Also, just for fun, your names wil give you different powers. If you want to change your power, just say what you want it to be. Neverseen, you cannot be seen by the person below.)

Nooooooooooooo!!!! Someone wrote "Hello" on my lovely perfect untouched thread!!! Fine! I will change that! I can't see them though...

STORY BEGINS

I quickly locate the word "Hello" and attempt to scrub it off. It doesn't work. So i pour white paint to erase it. Just in case someone is there-- which they couldn't because I can't see them-- I say, "Go away."

STORY ENDS

There we go! The end! No one will ruin it this time. I mean, no one could be there since I can't see them, right? *laughs nervously*

(Here are your assigned powers. Feel free to change them!

Red Starlight: Fire powers and glows red.

Raven: summon ravens.

Periwinkle: grow healing flowers (this will be important)

Scribbler: You can edit what the story says! you could change it so that the word "hello" wasn't erased by the white paint!

Tealeaf: Summon a nice cup of tea. It can be delishous, flavorful, and as hot as you'd like!

Piano Man: Summon pianos with healing songs and dangerous songs.

Neverseen: you cannot be seen by the person who is trying to keep the thread unoccupied. they will be called The Writer from now on.)

I watched this with fascination. The thread's guardian seemed to be speaking to the air next to me-- could they not spot Neverseen? I suppose it would be in character with their name, but it was still odd. Squinting at the guardian-- that was what I had decided to call them-- through my uncleaned glasses, I took in their appearance. Were they doing the same for me? It might remain a mystery.

"Who are you?" I murmur softly. They weren't a wild animal, I knew, but speaking too loud still seemed like a sin in the home of this empty (or formerly so) thread.

ARGH! More people? I hear someone say "who are you?" but I will not look for them. They don't exist after all. I mean, why would anyone be here? 8laughs nervously again* Well,. I will fix this!

STORY BEGINS

I erase all comments on the thread using paint. The comments refuse to scrubbed off, so i have to paint over them. I mean, I decide what happens, seeing as I am The Writer.

STORY ENDS

(Just in case anyone doesn't know, the person above is called The Writer.)

WOOHOO! FLOWERS!

"A flower here! And a flower here! And a flower over this sign! Woohoo!"

Everyone was yelling at me for covering their houses in flowers, but nobody will care if I do it here. This is the thread nobody is supposed to comment on. At least I think so. I don't really care. Actually, that makes the idea of growing flowers here even more appealing. This place could use some brightening up.

"FLOOOOWEEEERRRRSSSS!" I scream, letting petunias and tulips and violets (and periwinkles ;)) grow everywhere.

Out of breath, I finally say, "I like flowers," and collapse into the garden I've grown to rest a moment or two.

ARGH!!! THERE ARE FLOWERS ALL OVER MY THREAD!!!!!!

STORY BEGINS

I pick every flower, then pull up the roots. I see someone laying down by my thread. I poke them. They don't move. Well, let's just make sure. I bury them.

STORY ENDS

(Fear not, Periwinkle! You can dig yourself out!)

Um. Did somebody just bury me?

My eyes pop open to a whole bunch of smelly dirt.

"NOBODY BURIES ME! REVENGEEEEEE!" I let a huge, thorny vine push itself out of my consciousness, creating a huge hole, and create a few more vines to pull me out. Then I spread some more beautiful flowers. Ha.

RGHHHH!

STORY BEGINS

I pull up every single flower. then I put he threads in a unmeltable box. then I make it rain acid. Luckily, I have the house that is unmeltable. Now whoever is out there should be gone...FOREVER. Heheheheheheh.

STORY ENDS

(this is where your healing flowers come in handy, Periwinkle! They will be useful in other times as well!)

I'm melting.

Acid burns into my skin, and I collapse again from the pain. "No..."

One last vine makes its way up my arm. Slolwy, I feel my energy come back. Periwinkles grow all over the vine. I smile. It takes more than that to bring Periwinkle down.

I see one other CBer. I send a vine over to them, in case they've taken any damage from the acid rain. Then, I walk straight into the thread and say aloud:

"Hello. My name is Periwinkle. You do not want to cross me and my flowers."

Flowers flood the thread, seeping their roots down into the earth. I warn them to be aware of the person cruel enough to take them out of the ground.

"Okay, let's do this, flowers! FLOWER POWER!"

(Uh-oh. You hve angered the Writer.)

#TheWriterIsNowExtremelyMad

That's. It.

STORY BEGINS

I use my magical writing power to make it so flowers cannot grow on the ground around my perfect threads. Then I make it rain anvils. Over everything except me and my precious threads. If Periwinkle thinks she can beat me, she is mistaken. I then send out magical fire that will burn for five minutes and cannot be put out by anything until those five minutes are up. No one will beat me.

STORY ENDS

HAHAHAHAHA! see if you can survive now, Periwinkle!

(...And the Writer is going insane. Scribbler can help you, but I am  not sure when they will show up.)

submitted by Missing, age Missing, Missing
(January 1, 2022 - 11:43 am)

I summon an enormous raven, plucking Periwinkle out of the fire and flying high above the clouds. It's beautiful up here, besides the anvils below us. Gosh, what's so important about those threads anyway? Makes me wonder what their keeper is hiding... and where are the admins in all of this? Shouldn't they be putting a stop to it?

submitted by Raven
(January 1, 2022 - 1:22 pm)

I frown at the discovery that my flowers cannot grow around the thread. But unfortunately for the Writer, they forgot to make it so my flowers can't grow inside the actual thread.

I walk into the thread and surround myself with healing flowers to keep myself alive. I am not going down that easily. The flowers root themselves into the thread so even if the writer makes it impossible for them to grow anymore, they will not die and will continue to protect me.

#TheWriterIsgoingInsane

WHY MUST EVERYONE MESS UP MY THREADS!!!  CAN'T THEY JUST EXIST TO LOOK AT??? FLOWERS DON'T MAKE IT ANY PRETTIER!!!

STORY BEGINS

This time, I not only have anvils raining from the sky, but I add bombs. Luckily, my threads can't be blown up by bombs. And I cover the threads in acid after making it so the threads can't be melted. And I add some archers to shoot down anything in the sky.

STORY ENDS

GIVE UP ALL OF YOU!

My eyes slowly open in surprise. I hadn't realized I'd closed them in the first place. Must've fainted or something... I guess my flowers weren't enough to protect me.

I suddenly become aware that I am in the sky. Raven sits next to me. "What? What's happening, Raven? Where are we going?"
