I told Mango

I told Mango we could write a story together. Thus, this is the thread I made for it.

Well, ummm.... Do you have any ideas?

I don't know what kind of story do you want to write?

Um, I think this thread is dead, but how about a Pokemon story???

*Shrugs*

I dunno....

I suppose a Pokemon story would be fine...Ideas?

None with Ash and co, please!

Hey! I've got an idea!

Evil ledgendaries!

However, I had a non-pokemon idea that I like...  There is this evil group that wants to do something evil, but they have to get somewhere... And only The Guide knows how to get there.  The Guide picks someone to go with her to get to this place before the bad guys, but the touble is that they have to cross mountains, go down waterfalls in an inflatable boat, go through marshes, etc.  What do you think?

Or we could do a cat warriors type thingy with wolves....  Remember that story I wrote?  With Magmaclan?  We could use the wolf pack.

Maybe evil legendary wolf Pokemon in Clans who want to do evil things but one wolf is trying to stop them! And he is helped by a Pokemon Trainer named... um, I need ideas... But I wasn't going to do it with Ash anyway. Ash is stupid. So. I just tried to combine all the ideas there...

Let's leave the trainer out. And the ledgendary evil. How about...

Darkpack (Mightyena/Poochyena) (In a mixed forest?) (Attacks Dawnpack a lot) {Don't get me wrong, I like Mightyena, but I don't want Houndoom to always be evil} (Maybe the most powerful clan... err...pack.)

Flamepack (Arcanine/Growlithe) (Mountain, preferably extinct volcano) (Ooh, a plot device!  The volcano erupts.... You like?) (Rival of nightpack) (Somewhat trying to help Dawnpack, so somewhat Darkpack rival)

Nightpack (Better Idea for name?) (Houndoom/Houndour) ('Fire' Rival of Flamepack) (Let's make them the 'odd ones'.  With weird rituals, and such.  Maybe they are hoping some weird (ledgendary, maybe unknowingly to them evil) 'gods' will help them rule the forest.  Another plot device!) (Territory?)

Dawnpack (Eevee/Espeon/Umbreon)  (This should be the 'weak pack'.  Like Windclan.)  (Let's also say this clan is attacked a lot by their rivals.... I'm inclined to say their rivals are Houndoom, but lets say Mightyena) (Where should they live? Not a moor, though. That would be cliche.  Let's make their habitat creative... Maybe a large island?  With lots of stepping stones and smaller islands.  No swimming. A very desirable territory... Maybe Flamepack should ask for island territory in exchange for protection from enemies? Another plot point!) (Maybe one could secretly be seeking help from humans against the code!  And the humans try to take over!  ANOTHER plot point!)

How about Nightpack worships Zekrom, that new legendary Pokemon. The weird Dragon-Electric Type. And when the Eevee's prove their skills, they become warriors. The warrior ceremonies are done at midnight and sunrise, and depending on when it is, they evolve into Espeon or Umbreon. Any ideas for the "code" of the Dawnpack? Other than the no human help thingy.

(Sorry, admins. This is long.  Please post the whole thing. ) Let's say that they all have the same code. Hmmm.... I like the eevee thingy.  Yay, let's have the Zekrom thing to. And then, some pokemon have to go on a journey to find Reschiram and have Reschiram save them?

The code?  How 'bout...(Parenthesis are comments.)

1. One must never purposely work with, ally with, or purposely show oneself to humans.

2.  One must not cross into another pack's territory unless under a truce or with a good reason.

3. Every Full moon, the packs must gather under a truce at (Ideas where, Mango?).

4. Everyone must respect Skypack, our ancestors. (I didn't say 'believe'.  I said 'respect'.)

5. One must not become to close to another pack.

6. The beta will become alpha when the alpha has died. (The Beta is the deputy, the Alpha is leader.)

7.  When a beta has died (or retired), a new one must be appointed within the next quarter-moon. (I think the 'moonhigh' thing can be silly.  Just say appoint another one soon!)

8. There may be only be one Seer per pack. (Plus apprentice. The seer sees signs, but doesn't do medicine.  The seer can also have a mate.  There are multiple 'wolves' per pack that do medicine.)

9.  To become a beta, one must be a warrior (Can you think of something besides 'warrior?') and have had at least one apprentice.

10. When a Beta becomes an alpha they take the name -sky(You know, like Dawnsky, of Flamesky, or Darksky?) and ten lives. (Nine lives sounds too much like cats.)

11. One will not cause bloodshed unless it is absolutely necessary.

*Gets out Secrets of the clans**flips to 'warrior code' section*

12.  One must protect the pack with one's life.

13. Elders (ideas for anything besides 'elders'?) and pups (AKA young ones) are fed first.  Apprentices and warriors can not eat things caught while hunting, unless the elders and pups are fed. (Elders, pups and sick ones, BTW.)

14.  One only kills prey for it to be eaten. One must thank Sykpack for the prey's life.

15. A pup must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

16. After recieving their warrior name, one must patrol all of the territory's borders silently and alone.

17.  Borders must be checked and marked daily.  All trespassers must be challenged.(But not attacked, mind you)

18. One may never neglect a pup in pain or danger, even if that pup is not a part of their pack.

19. The Alpha leader's word is the warrior code.

Any other ideas?

The Nightpack code (this is weird, so be warned):

1. One must never speak rudely of The Black One.(Zekrom)
 2. All new warriors must travel to the Lake of Death to gain The Black One's approval and blessing. You must listen, or you will be destroyed.
3. If you are not approved of by the Black One, you are banished from the pack.
4. When catching Rattata and Pachirisu, you must ask the Black One for strength. Do the same before battle.
 5. Every new moon,  the pack must gather and do the ritual for The Black One. Failure to do so results in punishment.
6. This ritual consists of throwing objects of extreme worth to you in the Lake of Death. These objects have a part of you in them. When The Black One, who slumbers at the bottom of the lake, obtains enough life, he will rise again and lead NightPack to glory.
7. When you become an alpha, you gain the name -one and gain lives proportional to how much worth the items that you threw in were.
8. The alpha's successor is the one who gave the items of second worth only to the alpha.
9. You cannot cross borders unless The Black One sends a sign that allows you to.
10. If the Seer receives a sign from The Black One, all must listen and obey, even the leader.
11. You must remain loyal to The Black One, or else The Black One's wrath will destroy you and all around you, so you shall be banished.
12. If the leader dies of illness, he/she was plotting against the Black One. All memories of them are distinguished, all orders they gave are terminated, and their name is said with contempt.
13.  If a pup from another pack is in danger, The Black One never wanted it to live, so you do not rescue it.
14. Never say The Black One's name, lest you feel the wrath of his power in full force.
15. The Black One exists. Do not doubt this at all.
16. Any Pack that denies The Black One's power will suffer annihilation when he arises from the Lake of Death.
17. Any who worship the White One (Reshiram) will be immediately killed.
18. Place all items that you hate into the Grove of Lightning, which harnesses some of The Black One's lightning and destroys The White One's life force.
19. When a cat dies, its body will be thrown into The Lake of Death to give it rest as a helper of The Black One.
20. However, when a worshipper of The White One is killed, he is thrown into the Grove of Lightning to destroy him along with The White One.
21. If you become friendly with one of another pack, they must believe in The Black One or else you both will become prisoners.
22. All prisoners will be thrown into the Grove of Lightning at the new moon, when The Black One is strongest.
23.  If they survive and manage to escape from the grove of lightning, The Black One wants them to survive and they will be welcomed back in to the pack.
24. If a cat serves as a guard of the Grove of Lightning, they may be killed. They have served their purpose to The Black One and will give extra life to him when they are put into the Lake of Death. It is an honorable job.
25. The Black One will arrive and allow us to rule the forest someday. If there is doubt about this, The Dark One may not.  Do not be doubtful.

Told ya it was weird. The Pokemon Reshiram and Zekrom aren't actually known to the general public as official yet, but  they do exist. They symbolize Yin and Yang. Reshiram is Dragon-Fire and Zekrom is Dragon-Electric, thus the Grove of Lightning.

This is going to be a great story!  I'll post Darkpack and Dawnpack soon.  We should work on the characters soon.

The Darkpack code. (Mightyena/Poochyena)

1. There is one leader and one leader only. When the leader is too weak to lead, the one who can defeat him becomes leader.
2. The Seer must tell everything he sees in his visions to the leader. If he doesn't, he will be imprisoned until winter and then banished.
3. Apprentice Poochyenas end their training by defeating their fellow apprentices in battle. Those who are defeated are too weak to battle, and are used to train new apprentices only.
4. In battle, do anything you can to defeat your opponent.
5. The leader's decision is law. Anyone who disobeys him is breaking the entire Dark Code, and will be treated as a servant to the leader.
6. If you are defeated in battle and survive, your life as a warrior is over. You will be treated as though you are an apprentice who didn't complete his training.
7. The most experienced warriors are sent to prowl the borders. Anyone who crosses from the other side will be defeated by any means necessary, be them a warrior or a pup.
8. If the pack needs more food, wolves may cross borders to get more.  Any who refuse to do this are declared disloyal and are prisoners.
9. If you do medicine, you are also expected to be able to do all of the duties of a warrior.
10. Our ancestors will give us power.  Ask for power before battle and before hunting.
11. Those who eat more than they hunt will be banished.  Only pups and mothers are an exception.
12. Every female warrior must give birth to pups at some point in her life, to make our pack bigger.  Ones who don't after four seasons will become a servant to the leader until she does.
13. Servants clean the dens of all members of the DarkPack, as well as do most of the hunting. They are forbidden to come to Pack meetings and cannot speak to anyone.
14. If any servant to the leader shirks their duties in any way, they will be starved for a moon. Those who survive are cast out into the next winter possible and made to cross the border to the next Pack. Those who return will be killed.
15. If the leader gives an order, even one that contradicts what he previously said, it must be carried out immediately.
16. Every healing wolf must be able to do their duties perfectly.  If their patient dies, they will, too.
17. Every wolf must have an apprentice.  Even queens must train someone.
18. Pupss will begin training as soon as they can walk.  If they get hurt, the mentors will take full responsibility.
19. If you kill a pup, you suffer the same way.
20. Elders must fight and take part in battles.
21. Apprentices must also fight after seven sunrises of training.
22. If there are not enough pups, one may take them from anywhere.
23. All wolves used to fight apprentices cannot be called a clan name.  They are weak and are a disgrace, thus will not be called by name.
24. Pups will be forced to fight their parents if they stray too far from home.
25.  If a wolf is disloyal, he shall be hunted down and killed.
