I've made it:

Chatterbox: Inkwell

I've made it:

I've made it: my version of a perfect society! Except... the inhabitants aren't human. I couldn't find a way to make a perfect society with humans (since someone would ruin it at some point), so instead I put this perfect society into the form of philosopher eagles. Yep, that's their name, philosopher eagles! And I'm using them in the full-length novel I'm attempting to write and get published.

Philosopher eagles are 12 feet tall on average when full grown. Even the chicks are massive (6 feet tall)! I decided to make them live in massive cliff towns called aeries. Ones that are especially big are called mega-aeries. They almost worship knowledge. To classify as an aerie, the possible aerie must have all of the usual safety stuff like a fire department and police, but it also has to have a library. Being a librarian is the equivalent of being an astronaut in the human world. The government is a Parliament-style government with an equal amount of conservatives and liberals. To be a politician, you have to have been or currently be a chief librarian who has read all of the books in their library. Everyone is equal, and all beliefs are accepted. They have a bit of a rivalry with another civilization called the shadow cats because shadow cats base their society around the ranking you have in society instead of knowledge and equity. Philosopher eagles make their coins with pure gold (known to be the most pure in this world) and their coins are valued very highly in the outside world. Philosopher eagles usually don't get involved in wars unless they're sure it's the right decision. Also, they have almost no contact with any other civilizations except to trade, and, occasionally, to fight in their wars.

I based their society around my idea of a perfect society. This may not appeal to some people, but this would be my perfect society.
