A mystery! so

A mystery! so two weeks ago a girl in my grade vansihed off the face of the earth. She had great friends, although now I regret I wasn't one of them. her mom suddenly pulled her out of school and put her in this other private school, but nobody knows why. Not even her friends knew why she left, or even knew she was leaving until she was gone. I don't know if anyone has talked to her since. I haven't repeated this story until now, and I just made up a poem off the top of my head- its dreadful, really. it doesn't even really aplly to her. yes, I know its weird and the rythm is off, but...

where has the wind swept you away to?/ a fading shadow in my life/ one cloud of many passing through the sky./ I always seemed to look through you/ now  you are no more than what once had been/  you are somewhere beyond the horizon's end/ but pray,/ tell me where that lay./ so I may meet you there someday.

it sort of reflects on all the people we never really got a chance to know, and before we know it they are gone, but it affects us in only trivial ways. it makes me think, do they ever think of us, too?

I have no idea on how you comment on something like this, how 'bout the poem was interesting? :/

I liked the poem, Katie! Good job. Rhythm might be important, but this has a moral and a story. forget about rhythm- this was good! (tho now i might be tearing up.. :D)

keep writing, Katie.
