Script Frenzy?

Does anybody here do Script Frenzy in April? I went onto the website and it looks pretty fun. Although if I try it I'll have to do the real thing, not the YWP version, because YWP's only for ages 12 and under.

What's Script Frenzy?  I've never heard of it.  If I wanted to I could do YWP.  I'll turn twelve in february.

Have you heard of NaNoWriMo? ScriptFrenzy is similar. In April, you write 100 pages of script in 30 days. Also, since its in April, you'd be 12 by ScriptFrenzy. Go to the scriptfrenzy site to learn more.

This'll be my third year.

Did Future Daniel last year, only got to like 40 pages though... And the year before that I did Courgette of Courage, which I did finish and liked rather a lot.

It's good fun, and *a lot* easier than NaNo, 100 pages instead of X amount of words. That's approximately... oh... 15,000 words or so, in thirty days. Much easier. Also approximately 100 minutes of screen time, if one opts for screenplay. Not sure about the rate for plays, which I think I might do this year. The Tristan idea would be good as a play, I think.

If I'm feeling particularly ambitious I might go for a musical and compose some music in May.

Well I signed up.  I don't know if I could do it though.  I'm AnimalsAre8D again.  I use it because nobody ever uses it and I do think animals are cool (except cats, no offense to cat lovers).

Coincidentally Gianna and I were going to sign up sometime this week. We think we might collaborate and actually write the musical we've been planning out for a month or so...

Buddy me when you do--it's TNÖ again. Yes I use that for everything. Shut up. :)

Right on. ...It stands for "The Nearly Omnipotent"?

Okay, I've been meaning to say this for a while. What the heck does TNO stand for????  The National Overstater? What? Where did you come up with it? I mean, I like it, but, still.

If I remember right, EW, a long time ago TNÖ said it stands for The Nearly Omnipotent, a nickname someone gave her in a Muse magazine. She even gave the date of the magazine. TNÖ, do I remember correctly?

Old Cricket

The National Overstater... bwah ha... I like that. I may use that sometime, if you don't mind.

But yes, Old Cricket is correct, except that I named myself The Nearly Omnipotent and then someone else used the acronym, which I kept because I liked the way it sounded and looked. *nodnod*

BTW, I'm wrong on the 12-and-under only thing. I nanomailed the moderator from the YWP nano forums and she said it's for 17 and under, they just haven't updated the site yet.

I am planning to sign up this weekend, but not as Reuben this time, most likely. My current idea is a scifi-adventure TV show, like Star Trek, but not like Star Trek.

My anti-spam code is Tomy! Like Tommy!

@ Reuben: My friend Tommy and I haven't seen each other in over a year... *sniffles* Random... And also a bit random, my uncle Jim is a Star Trek groupie like you. (Not so much with Star Wars... I believe his review was "It was a bunch of people running around with giant teddy bears blowing things up.")

I signed up (Gianna did as well) and I used ML Wolfbar again because the NaNo account works on the regular site as well as the Screnzy site. Yayness.

oh! Sweet!  I came with an idea!  I'm going to do a comedy about a mouse that keeps doing things to make the owners of the house mad so the owners try to catch it but keep ending up in trouble trying to do it!

Hmmm, never heard of it. Sounds cool though, but I'm over twelve so I wouldn't be able to do it. But I do write down Harry Potter scripts. But I need to edit them... A LOT.
