I wrote this poem, any feedback?

We say the rainbow after the flood

Is more beautiful than the glistening mud

That the stars and the moon that shine clear and bright

Are more intruging than the clouded night

That the whitest dove winging lightly along

Brings more peace than a woodpecker's song

But the message, the thing that most of us miss

Is that, in the beetles or the dew's lightest kiss

Is the beauty of death and the want that we live

And the thing that we all want, and that is to forgive.
