OK, thanks. I'll post all I've wrote so far. Here goes:

Prologue sort of thing.

Two cats, loners, padded through the erie silent forest. One of them had kitted just last moon. The pair were walking away. Away from their kits, their life, their love.

“Was it right, Falcon?” The orange tabby she-cat asked, her voice filled with love.

“I’m sure it was, Dandy.” The brown tom replied sullenly. Dandy had thrown four kits, and gave one up to each clan. They would never know they had siblings in other clans. Or so they thought....

CHAPTER ONE!!!

Beach

In the LavaClan nursery, Beachkit suckled her mother. The tawny kit looked different among the cats of LavaClan, even her mother was black. Most of the cats there were either black or red. Tawny stood out like a coral on hard lava.

Sparkpetal looked down at her two kits. There was Amberkit, a red little she-cat, and Flamekit, another red one, except he was a tom. She had two perfect kits. Two perfect red little kits. She was just about to go to sleep when she saw another kit there. A tiny, tawny colored kit. Sparkpetal closed her eyes, thinking it was an illusion. When she got up, she was going to have to tell Emberstar. When she got up... Beachkit awoke to the smell of fresh kill. she jumped up, stepping on Amberkit.

“Watch it, Flamekit” She mewled groggily. Beachkit didn’t know Amberkit was talking to her until she saw Flamekit sound asleep. The tawny kit winced and padded along, careful not to step on any other cats. She got out into the clearing and yawned.

“Why, hello little kit,” a deep mew said. “I don’t think I’ve seen you before.” The red tom was startled.

“Wh-who are y-you?” The kit mewed shakily.

“Little kit, I am Emberstar, leader of LavaClan. Who are you, I might ask?” Emberstar continued.

“I-I’m Beachkit. M-my mother is Sparkpetal.”

“What? Sparkpetal only had two kits, and they were red! I should know, I fathered them! You are not my kit! Why are you here?” Emberstar acted angry,  but really, he was just confused.

“I-I don’t kn-know. I-I do know that this i-is my-my-my first night h-here.” She stuttered uncertainly. Who is this strange cat? Who am I? Where am I? The kit wondered.

“Ok. I’ll go talk to Sparkpetal.” The leader said, walking away. When he entered, he saw his family all asleep. Emberstar was tempted just to leave them there, not wake them, but he finally did.

“Sparkpetal,” He mewed quietly. “Who is that kit? The tawny one. She says her name is Beachkit and you’re her mother.” Sparkpetal opened her eyes groggily. She realized what Emberstar was talking about and sat bolt upright.

“You saw her two?!” She mewed excitedly. “Last night I saw a tawny little kit suckling along with my own kits! I thought I was out of my mind. Where is she? We must know the story.” The couple bounded out of the nursery, seeing Beachkit staring longingly at the fresh-kill pile. She scented them and turned to look.

“Hi! You’re Sparkpetal! You’re my mama!” Beachkit rushed over, skidding to a stop before the two warriors.

“No, I’m not your mother.” Sparkpetal said gently. “But, Beachkit, I will act as your mother. For now.”

“Really?!” The tawny kits eyes brightened. “Thank you, thank you, thank you! Who’s my real mommy?”

“Little one, no one knows. You will live and train in our ways. Since Sparkpetal had her kits about the same time as your mother, so I will tell the other clans that you are her kit. I am your father, now, so you will act as a LavaClan cat.” Emberstar informed the little kit on every thing she needed to know. “And now, since you kits would be just getting up, go into the nursery with your mother. I will tell the clan very soon.” Sparkpetal and her adopted kit went into the nursery, and curled up with Flamekit and Amberkit. Beachkit fit right in, though she looked odd.

The sun rose high in the sky, and the kits got up. They ran outside, looking for Sparkpetal.

“Momma, Momma!!!” The two red kits mewed, but the tawny kit had already spotted her. She was exiting the medicine cat den, visiting her sick brother. Beachkit bounded towards her, reaching Sparkpetal before any other kits.

“Hi, Momma!” Beachkit mewed, bouncing up to her. Amberkit and Flamekit finally got there, and gave Beachkit puzzled looks.

“Um... Momma? Who’s she? Why’d she call you ‘Momma’?” Amberkit mewled, puzzled.

“You’ll soon see.” She replied, seeing Emberstar bound up to High Branch. It was on a banyan tree, lots of branches, and his den was just above there, sheltered by roots and other branches and the floor was many branches woven together.

“Gather under High Branch for a clan meeting!” The cats gathered quickly. “Today, early, before sunrise, a tawny kit came out of the nursery. I asked her what she was doing there, and she said she was part of this clan. I told her, no, she wasn’t. Her name is Beachkit, and I’ve invited her to become part of LavaClan.” Out raged hisses rang out among the clearing. “Stop! She is a kit! She will do no harm! She is part of LavaClan now! I would like to meet with senior warriors at the base of Tall Tree.” With that, the meeting ended.

You like it? Sorry for the length.
