I don't mean to be a downer, but we try so hard to finish our novels, and when we do, what happens then? Will they sit in our notebooks and on our computers forever, only being read by family and a sentimental, future you? Sigh. These are the things that worry me. I need advice and a happier outlook. Anyone?

1. Most of us (with the exception of me) are good writers, and so
2. a lot of the work on here (and what isn't on here as well) is good enough to be published, and
3. even if it never does, it's important practice we're getting, so
4. we'll be really good writers someday.
