I wrote a poem this morning. It was VERY early this morning, probably 5:40 A.M, so it's a little weird.

A beam of morning sunshine

Shines lazily through the pane

It looks like hope and life and love

It smells like summer rain

Two feather pillows piled high

Four windows open wide

Can you see the land of golden sand?

Can you hear the carousel ride?

Any feedback? I'm still working out the rest of it.

I liked it soo much! I seemed to have lost my talent for poetry. But you..... I envy this poems potential.

Thanks! Here's the next part.

I'll keep dancing in the summer rain

Letting waterfalls hit my face

`Cause nobody can take from me

the feeling that I have my own special place

He used to sing in his deep, growly voice

Tell jokes and smile when no one would

They couldn't keep him all cooped up

I'm writing this in past-tense

`Cause no one could.
