Round Robin!

Round Robin!

Round Robin!

She gazed at the fineness of the delicate angelic-looking face, that yet seemed so independent and strong. It seemed as if time itself had stopped. The majesty and beauty had spellbound her. She had known the word beauty, but never understood it that well.

Her name was simply Jo. A name so unattractive. So... So... So alien-like. Anyone with the likes of him would never even stop and talk to her. She melted into the crowd. She was basic. No one would ever talk to her. Even if she was beautiful. Not an ugly freak that had stolen her way onto a cargo ship, hoping to find a future in America. No, Jo would never have a future. She had heard some people call her a "dirty immigrant." As if they knew her entire story. You see, it went something like this...

((I am sorry. This doesn't really seem like a Round Robin. But if you do, um, "Round Robin" this. I don't care where the story goes. It could be horror then drama. Have fun!   ;-) ))

Jo had been born to a wealthy landowner. Her mother was beautiful, her sisters were beautiful, and then there was her. She always was the one who's face was partially hidden in the family picture. Always the one mistaken for the maid. Always the ugly duckling. Nothing could ever comfort Jo, nothing except her father's............................

son in law Theodor. He was warm generous and kind. Whenever his wife or sisters in law or mother in law would tease Jo, he was there to help. He trusted Jo. He even told he that he had only married Jo's sister, Annabeth (I don't care 'bout PJ!), because he needed the money. Jo wish he were with her now. Jo didn't know. But her mother wept when she read it, and when Jo peeked at the letter on the counter and saw that what was written had given her mother happy tears. It said............

...someone bumped into her from behind.

"Sorry," she mumbled, then they took a look at Jo. "Then again, maybe not." She started laughing hysterically and walked away. Jo frowned and started to melt in the crowd, but soon she was in the unwanted spotlight when...

A kind voice boomed out and someone slapped her on the back. "Jo! What are you doing here?"

"Theodore!  I-I really don't know. Listen, let's get out of here. I need to tell you about a letter." And they ran into a dark alley.
