Chatterbox: Inkwell

Hey everyone my

Hey everyone my favorite book is Percy Jackson. Has anyone else read it? I love it. I have watched the movie like three times. my favorite part in the movie is where they were trying to get the first pearl. The place they were at was called Aunty Em's emporium. There was stautes of real people that were turned to stone by Medusa. When they look into Medusa's eyes they turn to stone. Just to let you know Medusa is a bad charater. my favorite character is Grover Underwood. He is my first favorite character. My second favorite character is Annabeth Chase. My third Favorite character is Percy Jackson the main character. If you have read the books or watched the movie or have done both which is your favorite character? The director is making a second Percy Jackson movie in 2012. I wounder why it takes such a long time to make the second movie? Probably because they have to find a character to play Tyson from the second book. because he is 7 ft. and 3 in. that is a very tall character. That is all that I can tell you unless you want me to tell you more?

Bye!

Hi, Emily! I think many of us have read/seen Percy Jackson. Most of us love the books, and have complaints about the movie. I haven't seen the movie myself, but I did really like the books! I thought Percy could be a bit boring at times (and I used to completely hate him, though I don't anymore), and the entire series was basically just a bunch of mind candy with no actual emotion, not to mention th alternate rippings-off of HP and Star Wars, but it's worth reading anyway. It's funny, with some great characters, and I love Greek mythology, so that part appealed to me, too. And it's extremely addicting. There are more reasons than that, but it's hard to describe...

Did you hear about the new series he's going to start that's related to Percy Jackson? (I mean The Heroes Of Olympus, not the Kane Chronicles). I don't know much about it, but I can't wait until it comes out!

Oh, and just so you know, normally we put book threads in Blab about Books, and movie threads in Pudding's Place. Maybe next time you make something like this it could go somewhere like there instead of here in Inkwell. We mainly use that for our own written stories/poems.
