Guess What???? I have created my own character from Middle -earth!!! She is the half-sister of Legolas, since her father was Thranduil but her mother was Tindomerel Cirdan's cousin. Alquariel is noted for her beauty: She has ankle-length black hair and deep blue eyes. She loves the woodland, but passed into the West when still relatively young, with her beloved half brother Legolas and the dwarf Gimli.

What do I think? It really depends on how you plan on using this character. If she will remain happily in your thoughts and fantasies, never to venture out into actual writing, fantastic.
However, if you plan on actually writing about her, give up on the ankle-length black hair; it will get horribly tangled and hard to deal with. Try giving her a real backstory and adding a plot, and it could work.
