Yes, I realise

Yes, I realise that I've made a thread already today. But I need advice. And who better to ask than my fellow CBers?
So, this year's novel is called (in case you don't know) The Complete Idiot's Guide to Being the Chosen One. Because I am too lazy for a full explanation: it is basically me making fun of clichéd fantasy *cougheragoncough*. Now, in such a book, the characters must visit elves. It's like a law of the universe.
...Aaaand I've come up to that bit and I'm drawing a total blank as to the way this place where they live should look like. I know it's in forest-y area. That's done. But as to the rest, to actual buildings and such... well, I need help. Does anyone have any ideas, keeping in mind that this is a parody? Admins, can you think of anything? Thanks you!
SBC says ob[e]r[o]n. SBC reads Shakespeare!

I think elves live in pointed houses with natural furnishings such as tree stumps.

Well, it depends on what your idea of elves is.  I think of them as very majestiv and gorgeous creatures with amazing agility and musical voices who are talented at everything.  Capable of hard work, or being soft as a butterfly.  This kind I think of living in trees.  On the outside they look like regular trees, except for a door.  On the inside it is much larger than it would appear and the furnishings are completley natural, but elegant.

Spamboy says mdkv.  I can't think of one for that.
