Whenever anyone asks me that, I have to say I play the sewing machine. That's really about it.

I sew. I do schooling. I read.

I most positively do.

About a week this year, and two years ago I was on for a month maybe but didn't post much.

No.

Gross.
11: Do you ever wear turtlenecks?
Not if I can help it. And I usually can.
12: Is any part of your body pierced?
Not yet, but someday I might pierce my ears.

No, I don't think it's dumb. I actually kind of like quizzes. Anyways...

2. Yes, I really like wearing dresses.

5. I read books, play piano, and do a Bible Reading Club that I'm in on a different website.

Wrting (a LOT of writing), reading, chores, taking care of little siblings, and riding horses, amoung other things.

Yes, I wear glasses and like them.

Yes, and I really like the way they look, except when I've just gotten them tightened and they pain me. Then I can be heard around the house moaning "I hate braces..."

Why do we put asterisks around words like *thinks* or *is embarrased* instead of saying "let me think" or "that was embarrasing"?
Although I assume they can be sometimes annoying.

I don't either anymore - I outgrew mine! Yaay! But I still have some turtlenecked sweaters. I might cut off the neck.
A cousin of mine recently got her ears pierced and while we were all (by which I mean the whole family) vacationing in Maine did an experiment on the rest of the family. She didn't tell anyone. Only a few people noticed.
Same here... Mom says when they come off my teeth will feel really slippery. Makes sense.

I love dresses, long skirts, medium skirts, any kind really, as long as they come down to mid-thigh.
You take karate? Awesome! Two of my brothers take tae kwon do and really, really (really really really) enjoy it.
I quit piano, it was so boring. But the really awesome thing was, my piano teacher lives right down the street!

Yes, like when I want to wear makeup and you can't see it because of my glasses, or I want to go swimming and can't see anything becuase I can't wear them. I have really bad vision.
It looks really awesome! And mine has peppermint in it, so is makes my lips feel cool.

Yeah...when I got mine on it felt like I had grown an extra set of teeth! I'm used to them now, though. How long have you had yours?

Wow, that must be a lot of work for your parent(s), ie the ones who do the homeschooling.
Yes, it's a lot of fun. My mom and I take it together. But we're only in the third ranking. So far. We just officially finished for the semester - it runs on a college semester schedule - but we can take informal classes during the summer if anyone else is around. Actually, it isn't karate, it's tang so do, which is a fairly new form of karate. The only difference I can make out - though I've never taken real (shotokan, or however you spell that) karate is that here all the commands are given in Korean. But we don't know Korean, so they translate.
I like horses - I've just only ever seen five or so up close. We live in the suburbs. At one point a neighbor wanted a horse in her backyard, but the city wouldn't allow it.
*Shrugs*

No. Actually turtlenecks feel like they're choking me. No matter how loose. My neck is somehow sensitive to that. Like I would get carsick if the seatbelt was up against my neck.
I can definitely see the niceness (I think that might be a word - if it isn't I think you know what I mean) of having one's ears pierced. It just seems unescessary to me. But then I don't like much jewelry either.
About a year and a half, though at first I only had braces onmy bottom teeth. I'm hoping for two years total, but I'm not sure.

Yes, one brother; he's 16 years old and spends most of his spare time reading philosophy or listening to music or reading obscure news online, at least right now, but he changes very, very quickly and often, and it can be hard to keep track. He's very intelligent, though, and he doesn't take things for granted.

Yes, especially long ones
3: How often do you cut your fingernails?
Never, my mom does. I don't particularly like to admit it, but I'm really not very self-sufficient at all. I've no idea how often she does it, though; I don't keep track.

I used to play piano and recorder.

I read and go on other websites. That's about it. The 'other websites' mainly consist of MuseBlog, tardigrade research, and Everything Else. Everything Else doesn't consist of much except for book websites, so you can see I'm very obsessed with all the things I do.

Yes, and unfortunately, I've never left it.

Two years, but this isn't the part of the website I visit most often. I post more in DtE, BaB, and CaC.

Yes, the former, contacts are uncomfortable. You might be interested to know that my glasses are in Ravenclaw colors.
10: What is your opinion of lip gloss?
I don't care for that at all. I don't see why people use it, but I don't care if they do. The same goes for makeup.
11: Do you ever wear turtlenecks?
Not really, as far as I know
12: Is any part of your body pierced?
No, I don't see the point in enduring pain for something superficial like beauty, though like with lip gloss, it's perfectly fine to me if others use it.

What are Ravenclaw colors again?
I guess that's pretty much my sentiment too. The only reason I would ever pierce my ears, which are the only things I would ever pierce, is so that I could make earrings for them. I guess that's a pretty bad reason.

@Oregano: Lip gloss is... what it is! Why do people wear lip gloss and lipstick when they could just wear chapstick? Well, why do people pierce their ears? I guess it's just to look nice. I don't understand why you think it's gross, though, because if you can look nice without pain, then why not?

Yes, I can definitely understand why people would wear it. I don't, though, because I DEPLORE tedium (to the degree that changing clothes/brushing teeth/etc. annoy me), and my natural lip color's fine so I don't feel the need. I'm really not a fashion person...
