I was thinking

I was thinking of doing an RP based on this show called "Falling Skies" by Steven Spielberg. Here's my idea: 

Aliens attacked the world, and there are only few people alive. Those who are are often in groups of people who try to scavenge food and find refugees. Each of these units also has people who protect the others and who are trying to find out the secret behind these weird aliens.

There are two types of aliens: the machines who are used to watch the people who have been captured and who are being manipulated by the aliens, and the “real” aliens called Skitters. 

We will all be part of the same unit or we find some of you... Whatever.

Ok...

 

No one saw them coming. They just appeared one day out of the sky. Giant machines, far larger and more sophisticated than anyone had ever seen. They conquered us in just a few days, but those days were a living h***. Millions died, thousands more wished they had. Only a few of us are left now, forced into groups, trying to survive as best we can. I am a Protector. My name is  Ailis, and I am one of the few who are trying to find the truth about these creatures. Where did they come from? Who are they? And how can we make them leave?
