I finally watched

I finally watched The Hunger Games movie!  It was awesome!  My favorite part was the chariot scene.  What was your favorite part?

~*SPOILER ALERT*~

I like Rue's death scene. I almost cried, but I didn't even feel very sad during the book.

APC says PIXR. Pixar? You like Pixar movies? Cool!

Really? I thought it was sadder in the book. Apparently when my friend Sophia was watching the movie, almost everyone in the theatre put up three fingers in the District 12 sign when they got to that part. I was like, "WHY DIDN'T I DO THAT!?!" >_<

I don't know what my favorite part was, but I absolutely loved Seneca Crane's beard. It was sooooo swirly. :) If I was a guy, I would totally want that beard.

The movie was awesome, but like someone on this thread mentioned Rue's death scene wasn't as sad as in the book. My friend was crying like crazy though. :) My favorite part was probably the interviews or random scenes during the games.

My sister wants to read the books. She's under twelve. I told her she can't read them yet. What do you think?

Well,I'm ten and i've read the books about four times. Here are some things to consider. Does she normally read things that are sortof like this?Does she get queasy at blood and injuries?

She's your sister, so you and your parents should decide. But if she's mature enough, then go for it I guess. (I read them in sixth grade if that's any help)

Everyone was clapping after Thresh killed Clove. And also when Neville killed Nagini in HP8. Yeah.

Gollum read them when it was 10.  Gollum's 9 year old friend asked why she could read the first two, but not Mockingjay.  I told her not to read any of them because the first two are extremely violent and in Mockingjay Katniss seems like she is going crazy.  She should wait until she is older.

Scrtidnte says tozi.  Toes have nothing to do with it!

When they were all saluting, I had to explain to my mom what was going on.  She got all confused.  She still needs to read the book.

No offense to anyone, but I was laughing throughout the entire thing because it seemed really cheesy to me.

It seriously bothered me that when the carreer pack was chasing Katniss they were like laughing and giggling. It sort of disturbed me. I don't really think it with the attitude of the book.
