Dragons and more, but all of them are rather puny not LEGENDARYWAWWRRRSEVENTEENFEETTALL. Yah, at a school, but I'm thinking a normal one, not one for Special People.

And I'm a boy.I'm always a boy lately, I've noticed.

Name: Tonirus Kelin

Age: will decide later

Appearance: really light hair, gray eyes, average height, average skin.

Power: lightning

Persinality: sarcastic, know it all, always has to be right, enjoys arguing with people.

Other: is fascinated with his powers, keeps them a secret and desperately wants to learn to control them.

I tend to stay away from being a guy, mainly because I honestly don't understand them.  The only guy I've ever been in a roleplay that I can remember is Percy Jackson.

Name: Belle Cloughton

Gender: Female

Age:14

Element: Lightning

Appearance: Shoulder-length blond hair in a sort of spiky style, one black streak right in sidebangs,  average height, medium build, pale, brown eyes

Personality: not a people person, very prickly personality, not afraid to zap someone with lightning, likes the color black

Tiffany W, I think you should start since you started the thread, that'll give the rest of us an idea of kind of what you want to do. =)

Tonirus-

I stop by room thirteen, panting heavily. Entering the room, I see a relatively young teacher and a roomful of students - ugh, mostly girls. I should be somewhere improving my powers, not learning trig with girls and annoying teachers. I'm more special than them-- see, I've got Powers over lightning. My mother knew, and she'd always told me that I belong somewhere where I can use them. Up until now, she'd homeschooled me so that I could master minimal control. But now, she's got some quest or other to do. Which stands for Tonirus Attends The Local Public School. The absolute number one place I'd like to be. Not.

"I'm here," I announce dramatically. The students roll their eyes.

"We're in the middle of math class," the teacher snaps.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't realize what time it was. You see, I seem to have misplaced my watch," I reply sarcastically.

"it's on your wrist," the teacher points out.

"Ever heard of sarcasm?"

He frowns. "Go to your seat. Pop quiz, children."

A girl with ridiculously spiky blond hair turns around in her seat to look at me. "Now look what you've done, "

"If you weren't here, you wouldn't be taking the quiz. Therefore, it's your own fault," I reply.  That's me, the King of Comebacks. Wow. I'm starting to enjoy myself.

Not after the teacher passes out the quiz. That's when I realize that I don't know any. Math. At. All. My mom never managed to teach me. Oh, joy.

At the end of the lesson, after I've somehow blundered through my quiz, the teacher corners me, my quiz in his hand. I glimpse a fat red zero on the paper. "Well, Kelin," he begins, "It seems that you need tu--"

"No!!!" I yell at him. "You're an idiot, and I should be making better use of my time!!!" The windows rattle, and lightning flashes. The teacher stares at me for a moment, then bolts from the room.

Overall, a great first lesson on your first day of school.

---

Okay, so I'm thinking this school is a place we all go to, but soon enough we leave on a quest or something - but if anyone else has ideas, please share them!

More about Tonirus: as he mentioned, he was homeschooled by his mother, a self-centered lady who also had element powers. This has left him with very little knowledge of general education and a lasting impression that he's the Purpose Of The Universe's Existence. It's for character development, peeps: for now, please don't take him seriously.

Argh... gender imbalance... but I'm doing a girl anyway.

Name: Essrial Rhaiser, called Essie.

Gender: Girl

Age: 14

Element: Air. Because that she means she can manipulate to sorta kinda FLY.

Appearance: Depending on how she dresses, does her hair, the expressions she makes, etc. she can make herself look young enough to eat off the kids menu or old enough to drive. Average height. Brown eyes. Ginger.

Personality: Smart (reason she's in trig). Is interested in the science of how she controls air. Most times, she likes figuring things out on her own, but she does like friends.

Other: Very good control over air. Can fly a plane or helicopter.

Cool SC! Essie can help Becky who bearly knows anything about controling her air power.

Other stuff about Essie: Her mother is at times totally insane and at others completely sane. However, her mother (Anarian), when she is sane, has completely forgotten about Essrial's father, Drake. She doesn't remember him existing. Nor does she remember Essrial's older brother, August, who disappeared four years ago, along with her father. The only clues that Essrial has about what happened to them are the words that were scrawled on every mirror in the house: The Order of the Croatans Remains Victorious. That, and how the a corner of the house looked like it had been struck by lightening. But the bills are piling up, and her mothers sane moments are coming less and less often. That's why Essie went to high school.

I don't think much of it when the kid runs into the room half way through class and we have to take a pop quiz because of his impudence. Except that it's his fault that we have to take a pop quiz. I hate pop quizzes. And I don't like this classroom. It always smells... wrong. Becky says that something smells, but everybody else doesn't think so.

But I do think a lot when he yells at the teacher and outside, lightening splits straight through the air. It's a sunny day. I'm on my figurative toes, instantly alert. Mr. Sylvester stares at the boy, and then stomps out of the room, muttering about "teenagers" and "no respect"  and "suspension" all the way to the principal's office. Some of the people are looking out the window, where the lightening was. Almost everyone.

Ardea, a girl I don't know but I know her name, is looking at the boy out of the corner of her eye. Adi is staring straight at him, her fingers moving furiously. Belle, who was sitting in front of him, is looking at the chalkboard. Becky is sitting next to me, and she's looking out the window.

Could they be from the Order? Or just kids? Now Ardea's looking at me, because I'm not looking out the window, too. Some of the other kids turn around.

"Where'd Sylvester go?" Mason asks.

The boy shrugs. "I dunno."

Outside, there's a clap of thunder. It smells like thunder, too.

And suddenly, I know what's wrong with this class and why it smells bad. It smells like thunder and rain, like charcol, and like cold. In other words, it smells like a bunch of Elementals. It's taken me two months to arrive to this conclusion. I am so stupid, so blind. The new kid, he's lightening, for sure. I'm air, and I think Becky might be, too. Just a suspicion. Ardea and Adi and Belle... it smelled like thunder before new kid got here, so fire, lightening, and ice. But who's who? Do they know who I am?

I stare out the window. "Weird weather," I said.

"Yeah," Ardea said, turning her gaze there as well. "It's weird."

I can hear Mr. Sylvester coming back, along with the principal. They're still a few hallways away, but I decide that I should give new kid a heads up, anyway. Not as another Elemental, but as a classmate.

"They're coming back," I told him. "You might want to leave."

"This place is such a waste of my time," he sneers.

"The last window over there," Adi says and points in a frosty tone, "opens easily."

"We'll tell them that you ran out the door," Mason says. Students unite.

New kid snorts, but he goes out the window anyway.

I stand up after checking the clock. 9:40. Seems like a plausible excuse. "I have a doctor's appointment," I say. I can tell that Ardea doesn't quite believe me. I walk out, and bump into Mr. Sylvester. "He ran away," I say. My story will check out with the others. "I have to go check out. I have a doctor's appointment." Sylvester nods, his face still red. "Thank you," I say. I don't check out.

As soon as I'm decently sure that I'm out of sight, I run out another door and run until I catch up to new kid. He's walking, so I stay about a block behind him. I can hear him breathing. I stop the sound waves that I'm creating the instant they start traveling through the air. He won't be able to hear me.

If he's got anything to with the Order, anything at all, I'll make him tell me everything he knows, and then suffocate him. I'll have to do the same with Ardea, Belle, and Adi. Maybe Becky, too.

I manipulate the air until I'm off the ground, and then until I'm half a mile over his head.

Adi's 15 by the way

Adi-

As soon as Mr. Sylvester comes back in I get ready to move.

"So pop quiz on the fall of the Roman Empire, I always save this for emergencies. I stand up and start walking toward the door, bag slung over my shoulder.

"Adi, where do you think you're going?"

"Home, I already learned about Rome two years ago, don't need it again."

"Addison Dixon, you get back here right now."

"Chill teach, I'll be back for lunch, maybe." I laugh a little and walk out the door. As soon as I'm out I follow Essie who's following the new boy. I tap her on the shoulder and she screams. This catches the attention of the new kid who turns around and joins us.

"That was so cold!"

"What can I say, I'm always cold," I mutter. The boy comes back.

"Were you following me?" he asks.

"She was," I say pointing at Essie, "I was following her." He turns to Essie.

"Why were you following me?" he asks seriously.

"I know you're both elementals, I just wanted to know if you had anything to do with The Order." How did she figure that out so fast?

"What's The Order?" I ask. The boy asks the same thing.

"Good, so you don't."

"Ok, now I have a question, what's your name?" I ask the boy.

"Tonirus."

"Essie."

"Adi."

"What kinds of powers do you guys have?" I ask.

"Lightning."

"Air." I show off by making a flower of ice in my hands.

"Ice."

I know, lame, just thought I'd get it over with. SC what did you want The Order to be?
