I'm thinking Post-Harry, around the time that Albus Severus is a first year. Harry Era is snore snore, and I'm no good at playing canon characters, which is what people usually end up doing if they do Marauders or TMR. If we ever did Chamber of Secrets opening though, I'd have probably volunteered for (don't laugh) Olive Hornby...

Name: Veronica Cooper
Age/year: I'm really not quite sure about this. First or second, but you people can be any year you want. I'm leaning toward second...
House: Slytherin! Woot woot!
Pets and such: No pets, doesn't play Quiddich, no idea what her wand is but has a unicorn hair core.
Personality: Snobby, grammar police, stubborn, sneaky. Ehhh... Will come up with more later.
Appearance: white-blond hair, skinny, pale complexion and grey eyes.
Family: half-blood. Her Muggle father died before she was born, so it doesn't trouble her too much.

Name: Icarus Dearborn
Age: Mmm... 38-ish?
Subject: Potions
Wand: Poplar and phoenix feather, 10 1/2"
Appearance: Short, light-brown hair turning to grey at the temples, sky blue eyes, wirey, rather dirty fingernails, a nasty scar running down the left side of his face, rarely smiles, tired-looking
Personality: Quiet and stern, rather arrogant, a demanding but not unkind taskmaster, very little patience for rule-breaking, and a staunch supporter of half-breed rights. Occasionally pompous. Former Hufflepuff.
Family and History: From an old, and traditionally Light, pureblood family. Joined the Order of the Phoenix along with his fiancée, Evande Llellwyn, after leaving Hogwarts the year after Voldemort's return. Evande was killed following Voldemort's successful coup as she smuggled Muggleborns out of the country; grief-stricken, Icarus charged into the Battle of Hogwarts a month later, intent upon avenging her death. He arrived just in time to blast Fenrir Greyback away from his younger brother, Lycurgus, then a member of the DA. Following Voldemort's downfall, Lycurgus was diagnosed with lycanthropy and Icarus devoted himself to the study of potions to ensure that his brother would always have access to a supply of the Wolfsbane Potion.

Appearance: Black straight hair with a rat tail, black eyes, whitish (but not frighteningly white) skin, about average hight and weight.
Personality: Aloof, "better-than-everyone-else" type.
Family: Halfblood, which is partly why he is so snobby--he feels like he needs to make up for his "mediocrity".
Other: Has a girl-friend named Taylor Nachtuele who is also in Slytherin.

Personality: Is sporty, loud and outgoing, but is incredibly smart. She was the Hermione of this era. Doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut.

Quiddich: s the Gryffindor chaser. She really loves the sport and owns a shooting star
Other: She has many friends, and actually is very good friends with Lily Evans. Had a huge crush on Sirius Black, but she knows he's out of her league, so she is currently dating a Hufflepuf beater, Andrew Cunningham.

Okay: either Gigi and Jess make their characters younger, or Blue Moon and I make our characters older. Whichever you people prefer. Also @ Gigi: this is Harry's kids, not Marauders... Sorry if my intro was confusing, I started talking about Olive Hornby at one point. And yeah.
So, should we do traditional platform 9.25 beginning? Or Welcoming Feast, or right smack in the middle of the school year?
Also, can something have happened to Professor Binns? I know that's unlikely, but I just had this idea... And yeah.

I might be able to make Nixon a few years younger, but then he'll probably turn into a Tom Riddle-type character, which I don't know if that's what you are going for. If you want me to be the protagonist, though, I could do that.
