If Walls Could

If Walls Could Talk: History of the Home

This is a great documentary (thing?) about certain rooms in British houses from medieval times to modern times. They're divided into bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms. It was on the BBC I think, and I really recommend it.

At Home by Bill Bryson is a book similar sounding to this.  I highly recommend it.  It has very strange statistics, such as how likely it is for you to fall down the stairs if you are a woman, over age fifty, single and have been in a relationship before.  And other weird and completely useless trivia.
