Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Disney RP.&n

Disney RP.

You all knew this was coming.  It was only a matter of time.  I'm thinking there's a Disney character convention at Cinderella Castle in Disney World.  Any Disney movie character will do, from Carl Frederickson to  Molly Davis. Wait, they're both from Pixar movies.  From Carl Frederickson to Elizabeth Swann.  That's better.  I shall call Ariel, natch.

Thoughts?

So, in re the starting.  Should we make bios or assume that everybody knows what our characters are like and etc.  Or should we twist the characters around and give them weird quirks?  And should we be writing like we're at a neutral Disney related place, or in our own worlds and everyone is randomly walking by?  Zose are zee qvestions...

DFTBA

Merry Christmas Eve Day, everybody (I still think this is an oxymoron)!

It's beginning to look like an abundance of Yuletide more and more each rotation of the earth!

Oxymoron is one of my favorite words! And you're right about Eve/Day. However, a third definition of eve is: "the period immediately preceding." So with that definition in mind, then Eve Day is correct.

Happy Holidays to all,

P.S. "The Two Towers" was on TV last night. I watched some of the Gollum parts. He's one of my favorite characters of all time, and I just can't take my eyes off of him. And I thought of you, too, Gollum of Neverland, the Chatterbox.

We should make bios and weird twisty things. 'Twill make them more interesting! And a neutral Disneyplace.

Name: Merida

Age: Actually, I don't know. She's about 15, 16, in the movie...

Gender: Female

Appearance: Giant hair, etc, etc, a ginger, you've all seen the movie (I hope) and if you haven't, I suggest that you consult a movie poster.

Personality: Rather headstrong, likes doing her own thing. Very skilled with a bow and arrow, but can hold her own with a sword too. Likes nature and bears. Chalks random things that aren't supposed to happen up to the will o' the wisps and/or other thingies. Will be suspicious of unfamiliar people, but warms up to them eventually. A bit of a trickster.

And go?

Merry Christmas, happy Haunukkah, Kwanzaa, Saturnalia, Epiphany, St. Nicholas's feast, Twelve Days, etc, etc.

Name: John Michael Hook (I just realized that Captain Hook now has the same names as his archenemy's best friend's little brothers.  But I'm pretty much making Captain Hook an evil John Green, so:)

Age: 35

Gender: Male

Appearance: Short (he has Napolean syndrome [not John Green, my twisted John Green Captain Hook {I don't think it's actually called Napolean syndrome, but my friend keeps talking about short people and how they have Napolean syndrome OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT! \So thus, we have a short Captain Hook that might have Napolean Syndrome or other/}]) Brown hair.  Constant puff levels.  Nerdy glasses. Mustache.  Pretty much the Pizza John shirt as a person.  but not as fat.

Personality: evil.  conniving.  Nerdy.  Has a phobia of ladybugs.  Like if he looks at a ladybug he will curl up and cry.

An explanation of various Nerdfighter things can be found in a) the nerdfighter thread on the DtE b) On the *insert amazing Van Houten Quote about The Internet* Google or c) there is a link in the dooblydoo (i'm Kidding.)

Name: Known as Cinderella, real name is just Ella.

Age: I'm guessing from 20-23.

Appearence: On the shorter side, shoulder length blond hair, blue eyes, rosy round cheeks, dimply smile!

Personality: Sweet tempered, spunky, strong, dependable, her own hero! You can't help but love and look up to her!

If we're at the time of the movie, she's 19.

Thank you! I've been corrected! I'm rather ashamed of myself, I should know that! I'm maybe her biggest fan!! Ugh, what is wrong with me?!

Name: Mushu

Appearance: little red dragon. Sounds like Eddie Murphey.

Personality: comical, impulsive, confident, slightly heroic

Abilities: invincible, can speak with animals, a guradian spirit, breath fire, all that dragon jazz

But you must remember (can't help pointing things out - loves Mulan) that Mushu can't breathe fire very well. Maybe enough to alight some twigs.

"Sounds like Eddie Murphy" = YES.

In my defense, I haven't watched Mulan in about five years. And he does sound like Eddie Murphy for obvious reasons.

Oooh, yes! I hope it's not too late to join.

Name: Tiana

Age: Somewhere in the mid-20's.

Appearance: You've seen the movie, or at least things talking about it. Not a frog, though.

Personality: Very hardworking, likes to cook. Doesn't really take stuff from anybody - a no-nonsense kind of person. Puts up with Charlotte because [enter reasons here].

I love tPatF so much. It's one of my favorite later Disney movies.

Name: Ursula

Age: Fortysomething. Late fortysomething, but don't say that to her face.

Appearance: Bluegrey skin, slightly mottled and consequencely a bit corpselike. The bits on her face and shoulders and hands resemble discolored human skin; everything else is much darker, bumpy, and squishy, like an octopus. Fluffy, unmanageable white hair. Um... she's a cecaelia. She has tentacles.

Personality: Has a superiority complex approximately the depth of the marina trench (cecaelia, like octopi, are primarily bottom dwellers. ergo, lower is better and therefore their metaphors go down instead of up). Vain. Enamored with her own cleverness. Manipulative and vaguely sadistic. Fully aware of, and utterly unapologetic about the above. Prone to sarcasm. Deeply resentful of her brother Triton and his family. Has a Very Mysterious Origin (she's the wrong species. No one's really quite sure how that happened. The popular theory is that the royal family cheesed off a witch and got cursed for it).

Occupation: Former queen. Presently, a collector of gullible souls masquerading as a peddler of magic.

Name: Princess Ariel

Appearance: Mermaid Form- green tail, long red hair, purple shell bikini top, blue eyes

Human Form- legs, long red hair, various dresses (regular blue in the village scene, puffy pink in the palace, purple with a slit when she's permanently transformed, a wedding dress at the end), blue eyes

Personality: rebellious, confident, kind, curious, romantic

Age: 16

I was going to suggest we should have it at Cinderella Castle, but I don't think that's too neutral.  Has anyone ever watched the House of Mouse tv show?  What about the House of Mouse nightclub?

Ooh! I used to watch that show a lot! I especially like the Christmas one! The Mickey Mouse A Christmas Carol will always be my fave version! But, what's wrong with Cinderella Castle? (puppy pout)
