The Hobbit

Did anyone see this? It was amazing! I saw it in 3D and loved it. I still think that the LotR movies are better though.

I'm in the middle of The Fellowship of the Ring but I sort of stopped reading eat even though it was really good. I just felt like reading something else.

OMGYES! I saw and it was really good. I was really frustrated at the end though. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT INTO THREE MOVIES!Yell I WANT TO SEE IT ALL! Sorry about that. I saw it in 3D, too.

Yep. I saw it the day it came out. I thought it was really good. I don't know how they are going to stretch it into three movies, but whatever. Really, you think The Lord of the Rings movies are better? I can't really say, because I've only seen half of the first one, but it seemed like The Hobbit was much better done. One thing that bugged me about the Fellowship of The Ring movie was that everyone had a different accent. Aragorn's accent really bugged me.

@Ivy- Well, the filming and scenery and everything in the Hobbit was better but other than that I liked the LotR movies a little more.

Oh Em Jamizzels I just saw it and it was amazing to the awesome. The only thing I'm worried about is their going into the appendices for plot points - Radagast and the Necromancer weren't technically in the book, and some fans who haven't read it that thoroughly might get a little annoyed. Also, the graphics looked kind of fake. Probably the frame-per-second thing.

Yava says mbga! Mooses Buy Glowy Asymptotes! I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.

Ooh! I totally want to see it! But I have to read the book first which I am about to do! Got to finish the book I'm on first. Way to many options to read currently! Also really want to read the Unwanteds, & Graceling!

I saw it in  a Imax theater over Christmas break. It was good, but the ending annoyed me. Why did it have to stop there?

Because movie directors want us to come back to see the second one. They want people in the seats, so they add random cliffhangers so we will come back and they'll make money. Really, that's most of what it is.
