So I've rewatched almost the whole first season (up to Stable Boy) with a friend of mine (who hasn't seen OUaT before) via facebook message (we both watch and message each other our thoughts while we do) over the past day and a half (it's spring break, I have nothing productive to do with my time). Our conversations keep devolving into vaguely roleplay-y and extremely cracky scenarious, and it's a blast.

Among other things, we've decided that:

• Joanne from Company periodically visits Storybrooke (and by "periodically" I mean "every time some says something about TWU WUB being real) to lecture people about TWU WUB and why it's silly, and that she's also drinking buddies with Leroy/Grumpy, Kathryn, and Graham (who is still alive because he broke the curse and went to New York after a side-trip to Forks, Washington where he teamed up with Charlie Swan to deal with the vampire infestation and the creepy imprinting wolves).

• Mary Poppins is Archie Hopper's childhood hero and at nights he dons a cape and a mask and runs around Storybrooke fighting crime as his alter-ego, Conscience Man aka Mark Poppins, with Pongo as his sideckick, Black and White Morality. Also, his secret ambition is to be a Broadway star and his disappearance for that huge chunk of season one is because he also ran away to New York, where he met Marta from Company and now they run a joint therapy practice. (Marta from Company isn't a therapist, but my friend and I like to pretend she is and that she and Christmas Eve from Avenue Q provide therapy for every character from every musical ever, because that's hilarious)

• Rumpel/Mr. Gold has a deal with Azkadellia from Tin Man wherein he sends her all the children he takes through deals so she can eat their souls, and also that Rumpel has a permanent magical cloud around him that makes people's IQ's drop by forty points, which is why they keep accepting his obviously bad deals.

• The kidney-stealing unicorns from Charlie the Unicorn work for Queengina and bring her people's hearts when she's too lazy to go and get them herself.

• All messenger pigeons in the FTR are Time Lords.

• Azkadellia comes to Storybrooke one day and lectures Henry at GREAT LENGTH about how awful he is to Regina, because if an evil magical entity tried to possess Henry, Regina would KILL IT DEAD instead of just giving up and letting said evil witch use Henry to potentially cause the complete destruction of the entire world. Because Regina is a better mom than Lavender Eyes (not that THAT'S hard).

• Graham and wolfie are the same, because Graham is a shapeshifter. This is why wolfie is never mentioned again after Graham leaves Storybrooke (LEAVES, I say. He's living it up in New York with the Adorable Posse [that's Jack from Wildhorn's Wonderland, Paul from Company, post-character-development!Princeton from Avenue Q, Lucas Beineke from The Addams Family Musical, Emmet Forest from musical!Legally Blonde, Hatter from SyFy's Alice, and Glitch from Tin Man]. *denial*).

• Hansel and Gretel's dad isn't a woodchopper at all but an ax farmer, and Morris from Wildhorn's Wonderland gleefully buys all his axes.

• Azkadellia, the Hatter from Wildhorn's Wonderland, and Evanora from Oz the Great and Powerful all live in Storybrooke and every time mayorial elections happen, the whole town turns into a magical battlefield while they duke it out with Regina over who gets to be mayor. Also, Zero and Cain from Tin Man are Graham's deputies.

• Rumpel/Tea Cup is a ship second only to Az/Emerald from Tin Man. Also Evanora/Apple and Regina/Apple.

• The first time James held a sword, he spun around really fast in a circle going "WHOOSH! WHOOSH!" at the top of his lungs. (This is because every time a sword gets swung, netflix subtitles either say [sword whooshes] or [sword zings]. In the case of the latter, every time that happens, Joanne appears to sing Ladies Who Lunch)

• Every year, Wildhorn!Hatter lobbies the high school to put on Into the Woods as their musical, strictly to annoy Regina.

• All Rumpel REALLY wants is a puppy, because when he was a kid his mom was allergic and they could only have cats that always attacked his ankles. His creepy skin and weird eyes are just a really extreme symptom of magical cat scratch disease.

• There is an expy of Jadis from Chronicles of Narnia in Storybrooke. Her name is Tiffany, and one day she takes over Storybrooke and triest to ban Christmas, but she's defeated by Conscience Man with the help of a mountain lion named Craig.

...so yeah. That's how I spend my spare time, folks.
