What are some

What are some movies that made you cry/sob? Some are

-Meet The Robinsons I just watched that, and I started tearing up at the end. I mean, he knows exclaty what's going to happen, he gets a better life, he loves his adoptive parents,AND HE DOESN'T TALK TO HIS BIRTH MOTHER!!!! OMG SAD!!!!

-Les Misérables. The first time I watched it, I didn't cry, but I watched it a second time and cried.

-Barbie in the Nutcracker. I know it's for little kids, but I like Barbie movies. I watched this movie around Christmas 2012, and I sobbed for 15 minutes! She's dancing with the Nutcracker, and wants to stay, right after they kiss. Then the stupid rat king throws down the locket and breaks it and she disappears, right as the Nutcracker turned human says I love you. Then she wakes up in the real world, but she can't find the Nutcracker anywhere. Her aunt brings in this prince she met, which is THE NUTCRACKER!!!! Then he asks may I have this dance and she says how can I say no to a prince, just as he gives her the LOCKET THAT BROKE!!!! OMG IM TEARING UP NOW!!!

Toy Story 3 kinda made me cry too. I watched it once, then went upstairs and saw all my stuffed animals and cried on them. Then I cleaned out my bedside drawer... Idk why...

Cry CryCryCry For Barbie! Tell her that I love her and I'll see her when I wake from Les Miserables kills me...just kills me...

*Spoilers*

Hachi. I couldn't stop.

The Return of the King when Theoden dies, and he said "I know your face" to Eowyn, like he did in Two Towers and Gandalf banished Saruman.

War Horse when the Frenchie (sorry, can't remember his name) give Joey back to Albert. (Note: Has anyone seen Thor and realized Captain Nicholls in War Horse is Loki??)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when Harry sees Snape in the Pensieve.

Wait, were the villains rats in the Barbie version? I know it was extremely unfaithful to the book, but I know they were mice originally (also not really any more villainous than the royal family, but that's another story), and that particular change just seems really arbitrary. (Also, I don't really like all the bad press rats get).

(I've seen the movie you're talking about, but it's been several years, so I don't remember the details).

Yes, the main antagonist was the rat king, with his minions and sidekick bat.

...Bat? What the cake? Why?

(Sorry, I'm just too much of a book purist... and also a pretty big fan of bats).

Out of curiosity, what was the bat's motivation for helping the rat king? In the book, the mice (including their king) wanted revenge (and also food for themselves and their family--also, they were probably concerned that the human prince was going to kill the mouse king due to a prophecy, so they wanted to kill him before he had the chance). There was this whole hilarious story about the history of the conflict between the human royal family and the mouse one, but that was not even included in the ballet. Which admittely, I haven't seen, so I shouldn't be judging the movie when it's base on the ballet, anyway. Still, I'm pretty sure the ballet doesn't have rats or bats.

(That said, I do remember enjoying the movie when I was little).

I have no idea why he wanted to, just born that way or forced to, I guess. I think the ballet had the rats in it, since I saw it, but that was in '10...

@Blu

They were mice. Remember we got that mouse stuffed animal for our little brother and he named him Na?

Well, mice and rats are pretty much the same in my mind.

@Melody, That's why you brought up Na earlier!
