What kind of music do you guys listen to?
Songs I've liked on Pandora are mostly by The Fray, OneRepubluc, and Imagine Dragons. (I'm in love with their song that on the Catching Fire soundtrack.)
The minorities: Lifehouse, Bastille, Lorde, Linkin Park, Green Day, Passion Pit, and My Chemical Romance.
Pleasepleaseplease don't judge me for my taste in music.

Anything by 1D and Bruno Mars I listen to.
I'm also really in love with Passenger's Let Her Go and A Great Big World's Say Something. I can't help liking sad, soppy songs, even though they make me really depressed afterwards!
One Republic's Counting Stars is really catchy, and I like Imagine Dragon's Demons. In my humble opinion, it is the only song of theirs with a tune. Oh, I also hear Avicii's Wake Me Up all the time, and really like that too.

Pop music doesn't appeal to me because it's incredibly stereotypical and I just don't like it. You're entitled to your opinion, though.

My music, as usual, is random. It being Christmas, I listen to what I call, my honky tonky Christmas list, along with celtic and other kinds of Christmas CDs.
In general,
Aselin Debison
Brave soundtrack
Britt Nicole's Still That Girl & Set the World on Fire (I discovered some of her music recently, and I love it!)
John Denver
Bastille's Haunt (I heard it on The Book Thief trailer, and I've been obsessed with it ever since)
McClain Sisters Great Divide
Through My Own Eyes by Aaron Carter and Kayla Hinkle
Other random things that I won't bother you with.

I like a lot of different types of music. The newer artists that I like are Sara Bareilles, Christina Perri, Jason Mraz, Adele, and some ithera that I can't think of off the top of my head. My favorite oldies are Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind and Fire, the Beatles, and sooooo many more. I also like Classical/ballet music and soundtracks, such as Merlin and Harry Potter.

I only started listening to music on my own when I did NaNo, so before that is was mostly Josh Groban (my sister is OBSESSED with him) and Kpop (with most of us love).
But now, I made my self a playlist of bands I really like and some are:
- Owl City (duh XD)
- LIGHTS
- Taylor Swift. I like listening to a lot of her music . . .
- Chirstina Perry
- Some really random Kpop songs . . .
Also I have some singular songs I love:
- Skyscraper by Demi Lovato
- Beetle Cream Soup by Lee Ji Hyung
- 24 by Jem
-The Call by Regina Spenktor (from the Prince Caspian movie)
- Other stuff I can't recall right now
My absolute favorite song is Cactus in the Valley, orginally by Lights, but I really like the duet version which is sung by Lights and Adam Young together. Silhouette, Embers (both by Owl City), Quiet by Lights, Innocent, the Last Time, and Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift.
That Kpop bands band groups I like are countless and I have no idea how my older sister actually can tell me basically all the ones she likes. . . but I like Beast, Big Bang, Girl's Generation, aaannnddd . . . er, can't remember any more off the top of my head. Fail. Anyway, might remember more later . . .

Oh I love The Call by Regina Spenktor! It was great at the end of Caspian.

I like rock and metal. Rush is my favorite band.
I'm also very fond of The Evillious Chronicles, a large group of songs by mothy, a Japanese Vocaloid producer. Is that what they're called? I'm not sure. My favorite song by him is Chrono Story, becuase it starts out awesome and then gets better. It also has the smoothest transition from harp and piano classical to metal I've ever heard.
Sakura likes JPop a bit becuase it's catchy and fun to sing and dance to. (She also likes Girl's Generation, Corina.) Red likes rock and metal and some video game soundtracks (like the Chrono Trigger soundtrack). Ruby likes classical and the Evillious Chronicles (although he likes the story more than the actual music).

@ Maggie:
Wouldn't you call One Republic/Imagine Dragons/Lorde popular music? It's played on the radio; it's not obscure.
(December 12, 2013 - 2:18 am)
I don't think they're pop music. I'm pretty sure Wikipedia classified them as indie music.
(December 12, 2013 - 12:51 pm)
Yes, they are indie but they have popular music so a lot of people know them. That doesn't mean that they are from the Pop Genre, though, if that makes any sense.
I like all sorts of music, a lot of indie. Ed Sheeran, The Icarus Account, Lorde... And recently I've become obsessed with this song called I'm on Fire by Stateless. It's awesome! You guys should really check it out!

I've finallly found someone else who likes passion pit!
Ialso like macklemore when I'm in the right mood for rap, but otherwise I like mumford and sons and a couple other groups.

My two favourite Pandora stations that I have is a mix of Broadway songs and some Disney soundtracks and then one that switches between Irish Folk, Hank Green, TMBG ish things and then stuff in between. I also really like movie soundtracks, like Last of the Mohicans. And then some kind of jazzy Christmas things are one, because, you know, Christmas is coming.
(December 13, 2013 - 6:55 pm)
Oh yes, I've been listening to lots of Christmas music lately. It really makes you feel good! Does anyone know the Sarah Machlachlan (might have spelled that wrong) Christmas CD? It's really good, if sad. My favorite song is Xmas (War is over).

Sorry. You probably never heard of these people. Maybe Toby Mac. But the rest, no. In short, they are all Christian bands. I love rap, and most of them rap. Especially in Definition of Me and Jesus Freak.
