SHAKESPEARE!

SHAKESPEARE!

I have this insane obsession with Shakespeare, and want to know if anyone else does. Here you can post your favorite plays, characters, and other random stuff like that.

My favorite play is 'Much Ado About Nothing', and my favorite characters in it are Benadick and Beatrice.

You know, self, if you're really going to write your Camp NaNo novel about a girl in a Shakespeare troupe and can pretty much only act as Viola, instead of having her own personality, then maybe you should read Twelfth Night.

I like 12th Night. 12th Night is good!

I agree! Twelfth Night is one of the best!

Twelfth Night is good, but whenever you have mistaken identities, it gets awfully confusing to keep track of who everyone thinks everyone else is.

There are more women disguised as men than are healthy in Shakespeare.

Maybe Shakespeare thought women disguised as men were hot.

Now THAT would be an interesting theory on who the heck Shakespeare was... someone with a propensity to find cross dressers attractive.

On more exciting news, THE SHAKESPEARE SUMMER CAMP I GO TO IS DOING TWELFTH NIGHT AND YESNESS AND WHOOPEE AND YEEHAW AND ALL THAT JAZZ AND GENERAL EXCITEMENT!

Good for you, Gollum! If only MY freaking summer camp would do a useful play like that instead of blinking Antony and Cleopatra. :(
