Divergent was an awesome movie, and was better than the book, but the VO from Tris at the beginning went on for too long. If I had to choose a faction it would probably be Amity. Candor's initiation process would destroy me, Erudite is evil, Abnegation is way too selfless (I believe you need to help yourself a little before you're fit to help others), and Dauntless... no. I won't even ride a roller coaster. I could never jump off a building!!!

It's great to hear that it was a good movie since rotten tomatoes gave it not so good reviews. How was Theo James as Four?
Sadly, I still have a while to wait. Divergent comes out here on April 10th.

I saw the premier of Divergent, and sadly wasn't that impressed by it. I really liked the book, though, and the trailer looked really good so I had high hopes. I just feel like they skipped around a lot, but maybe it's just me.
Theo James REALLY annoyed me. I don't know if you guys know this, but he played a person named Pamuk in Downton Abbey, and let's just say that his character was... different. And by different I mean TOTALLY CREEPY. As I was watching Divergent, I couldn't stop thinking about that, and it totally ruined it for me. I REALLY loved Four's character in the book, and I think the person who plays him in the movie should be worth respecting and... well, similar to Four. Theo James is anything but. Sadly.
Overall I didn't like the movie that much. I wonder if I'd like it more if I hadn't read the book. To anyone who hasn't read the book, but has seen the movie: Did you?

I loved the books . One of the best series' I've read .
I haven't seen the movie yet ! and I'm mad because it already went out of theaters ..
Buuuut I agree with you on Abnegation , Erudite and Candor but I think that I could be a Dauntless . I mean Amity is WAY too passive . I mean I'm a KICKBOXER lol so I like to fight . I would punch the first person to say soemthing rude ! Haha , and Dauntless is always on the go , it's action ! Adrenaline and action !

It's nice to hear a positive review, a lot of the people I know said they hated it. My friend Emzee (not her real name) and I have decided that we would be Erudite, but would side with the good guys.
