Classical, anyone? I

Classical, anyone? I happen to love Claude Debussy! And if you don't prefer classical, comment which genre!

Me too! As to Claude Debussy, that is. I ADORE Clair de Lune. My aunt is a classical pianist, so I listen to a lot of that kind of music. I'm also fond of Bach, but that's also because I can play a few of his preludes. My dad's into opera, so I hear some of that, too, but I mostly like it for the plots! :)

I love Deux Arabesques, Reverie, and Danse (Tarantelle Styrienne)! I can play the First Arabesque.

I love to read fantasy books! I am very athletic. I love sports such as lacrosse and swimming. I also love to act! I have been Alice in the play Alice in Wonderland and currently I am Aurora in Sleeping Beauty!!

Er... Caroline, try to keep on topic. If you want to tell people this, you can just click "click here to talk about the arts" and post all this stuff into it.

@ Danie:

I think she may have replied to the wrong thread. Like she meant to write all that in an introduction thread but wrote it here instead. I remember seeing that happen once before. There was a favorite word thread and this person posted his/her favorite words on another CAC thread.

Has anyone heard Reflects Dans L'eau? That song is really hard!

It's supposed to say "I love" before the word "Deux." Admins, can you fix that please?

Fixed!

I know more classical music than anything else (gooo violin! Suzuki! Suzuki!). My top 3 favorite composers are as follows:

Number 3: Dvořák

Number 2: Bach

And my all-time favorite... Vivaldi.

As might be obvious to classical music fans, I prefer fast music very much over slow music.

I am currently learning:

-Concerto in G Minor, 3rd movement, by Vivaldi (I already know the first 2 movements)

-Hungarian Dance by Nolk

-Blue-fire Fiddler by Soon Hee Newbold

-Allegretto Grazioso (from Symphony number 8) by Dvořák

-Gavotte by Prokofiev

and Concerto No.3 in G Minor Op. 12 1st movement (It's 4 pages... That must be a REALLY long concerto as a whole) by Seitz

That's a lot of music...

I JUST realized that you were talking about books, not music. Oops.

Wait... It IS about music? I'm so confused.

I like  baroque pieces and classical pieces,  just not contemporary ones.
